"Then Play On" - running order -

Hey there, everyone - I have a question that I think someone in here might know the answer to.

There's a taxi place near my apartment that sells old records dirt-cheap -
I bought "Rumours" for only 4 or 5 dollars, for example, and "Then Play On" for only $4. Left there feeling like I had gotten *such* a good deal.

Well, recently I was looking at the running order on the "Fleetwood Mac Discography" site ( http://www.fleetwoodmac.net/penguin/fmdisc.htm ) -
and I noticed that they list this running order:

1.) Coming Your Way; 2.) Closing My Eyes; 3.) Show Biz Blues;

4.) My Dream; 5.) Underway; 6.) Although the Sun is Shining;

7.) Rattlesnake Shake; 8.) Searching for Madge; 9.) Fighting for Madge;

10.) When You Say; 11.) Like Crying; 12.) Before the Beginning;

13.) One Sunny Day; 14.) Oh Well; 15.) Without You.

That's not the running order which appears on the record I bought - which I had assumed was an original first-run "print" or whatever the correct word is. Granted that it was only 4 bucks and is no big deal anyway - just for future reference as they say -

What do you think, guys? Have I been royally screwed???

Ghost Tracker, I don't think you have anything to worry about. It looks like the Penguin discography page just lists all the tracks that have appeared on various versions of Then Play On, not the actual running order. There were a number of different versions on vinyl, and a different tracklist again on CD, so I'm guessing they chose to list the tracks as they did rather than list every different variation.

This is the track order for the UK edition of the LP that I have (I believe this was the original track order):
Side 1
Coming Your Way
Closing My Eyes
Fighting For Madge
When You Say
Show-Biz Blues
Underway
One Sunny Day
Side 2
Although The Sun Is Shining
Rattlesnake Shake
Without You
Searching For Madge
My Dream
Like Crying
Before The Beginning

For the later US version of the LP that added "Oh Well":
Side 1
Coming Your Way
Closing My Eyes
Show-Biz Blues
Underway
Oh Well
Side 2
Although The Sun Is Shining
Rattlesnake Shake

And of course the CD is different from either of the above:

Which version is the one you bought?

Yeah, we will get around to fixing this but we're still working on the "old to new" format transfer. (just working our way through the "songs covered" section, about 12 or 13 albums to add in, this is the last section to do on the "old to new" transfer)

Once that's done I plan to go through the listings in the new format & fix any of these kinds of errors next & then, after that, we'll then be able to add new items, which is the part I'm looiking forward to the most but there's so much to go through before then that it may be a while yet before we can get to that.

If anyone would like to help out (to possibly speed things up) please let Marty know to see if he can set you up, I'm sure he'd appreciate that.
