This happened completely by accident, but I played Christine Perfect's 1970 together with The Kills version of Dreams. It sounded divine (for a little while, with the pounding drum...then The Kills kind of naturally superseded Christine when her song finished).

Still, Dave, Christine is not averse to doing cover songs. I think both of us know a lot less than people would like to believe.

"Think About Me" is another Christine song where Lindsey takes a turn. He sings lead on the chorus.
They sound great together when they collaborate. "Steal Your Heart Away" is a more recent collabo (on just the vocals). Christine's rich harmonies at the end of the song really complete the song.

I clicked on your username and on your page there was a link to this site with Dave Mason and Mick Fleetwood Blues Band dates. So I just assumed things! Sorry! Very idiotic on my part.

It's not the same song:

Too Far Gone

Gone Too Far

What happened to reason and critical thinking? Amazing how misinformation goes viral. Wrong assumptions immediately become fact!

I feel like a fool. Sorry guys! I hadn't meant to say this was the song on the new album, only meant to point out that the title is the same. This had me wondering...but by no means did I think this was definitely on the new album. It was really just a guess. I quite like the song, I'm not sure why Christine doesn't. It's luxurious. Gorgeous. She should be very proud of her 27 year old self for those stellar vocals (and keys?).

No one considered it a fact. Also, no one was asserting that Too Far Gone and Gone Too Far were the same song, so not sure why you mentioned those two in your post.
