The 2014 BIG 500 Memorial Day Countdown

All Memorial Day weekend, BIG will be playing the Top 500 Classic Rock songs of all time. You voted for your favorites, now listen to see where they land on our list.

The Beatles scored the most songs on the list. They have 19 tunes in the top 500. The Rolling Stones have 18 songs and Led Zeppelin got 17 on the list. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Van Halen round out the top 5 with 15 and 12, respectively.

Fleetwood Mac and The Who tied for sixth most songs. Both bands have 11 songs on the list. The top ten is rounded out by three bands who all have 10 songs each on the list: U2, The Eagles, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Journey and the Steve Miller Band are well represented on the list. The two bands who are playing the BIG Concert on June 1 combined for 14 songs on the list.

Once again Tusk goes unappreciated in Rock Canon. I guess critics and DJs can't figure out where some of Stevie's best material lies. I'm kind of surprised You Make Loving Fun and Second Hand News didn't make this list.

yeah considering the station i'm really surprised about that one, they play it a lot.

also, they had some statistic of their most played songs and Tusk and GYOW were their most played FM songs in the last few months... yet Tusk didn't make that list.
