Which is basically what happened during "Mirage" & "Tango".
This reminds me of the 1982 FM Record Magazine cover story all over again - The Trouble With Stevie. The article - "Where's Stevie?" was a propaganda piece full of spin by writer David Gans, who apparently held a hostile view of Stevie and set out to write a hit piece on her simply because she declined to be interviewed. La, la, la-la, la, la, laaaa

I don't think she'll come in at the end this time. I think she'll be there from the beginning. If it were just John, Mick and Lindsey, then yes she wouldn't be there from the start. This is different and certainly as momentous as any short tour she could do with Grohl.

I don't think she'll be there just because she likes Christine. She'll be there because it's historic and she wants to be part of it and the memories. First time since 1998. It's certainly as memorable as the Clinton inauguration. When they go into the studio. She'll be there.

I agree. She'll be there. She may not be mentioning it because she doesn't know the details. It's not that much of a stretch to figure that Stevie is usually unclear of what's actually going to happen and when. She's already mentioned two tours coming this year, or then one fall tour, a recording, a new house if she does another solo album and 5-7 years left of music. She's all over the place again.

I remember that article. It was conspicuously mean spirited. Either Gans took band comments out of context or Mick, Christine, and Lindsey were in a "Let's bash Stevie" mood. Ironically, John wasn't present either and did not get flak from anyone.

I think Extended Play was received well last year. For artists spending more time touring and brief periods in the studio recording, EPs are quick for releasing music.

I do not know how many songs Lindsey, Stevie and Christine have to record.
