As for her character, after the third season, they barely used her for anything worthwhile. Loved when she shot Eleanor's ex in drag.
I guess I'm into the whole angular, sinister thing.

I don't know the seasons by number; I never watched that closely. Was the ex the nun psycho?

Yeah, he was the killer that stabbed Lindsay and stalked everyone in the office.

I'm glad I asked. Didn't this thing basically happen about once per season? Same story, new psycho.

Hey, remember Henry Winkler with the roach fetish? blechh.

After about the third or fourth season, it started to really suck badly. It climaxed last season and became absolutely unbearable to watch; storylines where killers believed they were Hannibal Lecter and then stalked Lindsay, then Lindsay shot him and went to prison, blah blah blah. It was unwatchable. I didn't even watch the last two eps of last season.

Henry Winkler's two eps were great. Gross, though.

This season is the best season of all, even better than the first. I LOVE IT!!!

I remember that cliffhanger! I think my jaw hit the floor.

Didn't they move the day or time of the show in the last few seasons? I think that is why I wasn't able to watch anymore.

I think it was on opposite the "real-life" courtroom show "Crime and Punishment" that I used to watch.

Has anyone read Camryn Manheim's book? It's something to read if you want a laugh.

At one point, she tells of going clothes shopping with her mother. She'd tell her mother to get her a certain size and slip it to her under the door of the dressing rooms. Her mother would come back with a size four, shake her head, and snicker.

She's a class act, I have much respect for that woman. I wrote her an email a few years back to tell her how inspiring she is and she wrote me back; that's admirable.

Last year, they moved it to mondays and the ratings fell immediately. Only about seven million viewers. So, ABC used the slip in ratings to demand a lower price in airing the show from Fox and Kelley, and to keep the show on the air, they had to agree. Becuase none of the big actors wanted to take a pay cut, they were fired and only three of the originals stayed. I think it was for the better because it's amazing this year. I actually look forward to watching it on Sundays.

And they should make Sharon Stone a regular, dammit.

I have not read her book, but I saw her interviewed telling that story to promote the book. I don't remember the mom laughing; I thought it was that the mother was trying to trick her into thinking she was gaining weight so she'd diet, and so finally in the middle of a store Camryn screamed at her "I'M FAT, MOM!!!"

And I remember Camryn talking about how she loves motorcycles.

Yup.

She also talks about her affair with the Marlboro Man, how she yelled at David E. Kelley for not writing "fat girl sex scenes," how she had such a hard time picking a dress for her first Emmy show because of her dress size, how her acting teacher told her she was too fat for any role, all kinds of stuff.

It's one of my favorites.
