Default Slow Dancing

I wish he would have extended the end of this song. I could listen to that guitar another 20 min~!

Thumbs up Amen!!

I wish he would build something off of that lil solo. I love it!! It's almost like listening to a music box.

I have to dig it out, I haven't listened to it in ages! Once I find it, I'll try to get it to you.

what does it extend, the guitar? hopefully not the chorus

he and christine should be shot for repeating chorus's

i almost shoot myself sometimes

example
little lies, slow dancing, loving cup, gyow etc. You and I, got a hold on me

compose a bridge already!

I don't remember exactly, but I do remember that the intro is very extended.

It runs 5:57 compared to 4:06.....The one I have is more of a "remix" type thing. It's one of my favorite outtakes. The chorus is repeated a lot though...

That end acoustic guitar solo is beautiful, and a part of me does wish he would have let it go on for much longer, but I think the entire point of that song would have been lost if it went on for any longer than it does - it's not just a pretty solo which he randomly slotted in at the end of any old song, it's a critical part of the meaning. The imagery associated with that fading guitar is heart-wrenching.

Yet another example of "music ringing truer than speech", and yet another example of a genius's work of art.

Yea, that's a really good remix but unfortunately there is no extended guitar solo. In fact, if I remember correctly, there is no guitar solo at all!

There's also a weird kind of "oombahpokeeta" vocal sound that gets repeated a lot in this version. Anyone know what the heck he's saying there?!!

I've long thought Slow Dancing would be incredible given the acoustic treatment and played live a la "Go Insane." The guitar at the end is beautiful - I can just hear him slowing it down and playing the whole thing like that.

Maybe I should have followed Joe's example and made a t-shirt to suggest it to him for his (fingers crossed) solo tour!

I can see it now: the audience at next year's tour filled with fans wearing T-shirts that say "I Must Go" & "Gate & Garden" & "You Do Or You Don't" & "Book of Love" that the band kind of look at & scratch their heads . . . "Is that one of ours?"
