Default Bwana

One of my fav's off of Law and Order

I was on the BN sight and heard it live on Sat Night live 1981.

OMG this sounds horrible.

Mainly the vocals the instruments are good.

I did love the extended version of Slow Dancing. And I got to hear Dancin Across the USA. That's great stuff!

I think Bwana is about Mick. It was the time when he went to Africa. Cool song. That and Trouble are my fave from L&O

I like how raw it sounds. I love it when Lindsey goes crazy on the vocals. The Letterman version of Countdown is also fab.
I guess I should say I didn't like it, but it's just that he is so out of tune with this one. I love Countdown Live too, I did not see the live version on DLetterman however. Is this posted anywhere? I love the guitar solo at the end! wow!

Bwana on SNL is a cruel teaser of how awesome a solo tour by Lindsey around this would have been! I absolutely adore the live twist on Bwana, and I think the way Lindsey completely gets into this song is amazing.
Incidentally, the Countdown from Letterman is one of the greatest live performances Lindsey has ever done. Soooo....
Why has he never done either of these songs at a real concert?!

Lindsey, if you're reading this-- start putting some serious consideration into a fall solo tour, and play some songs we all wanna hear! If all we get is Trouble and then songs from a new album mixed with old Fleetwood Mac classics, I'll be mad! Here are some suggestions:
-Bwana
-Slow Dancing
-Holiday Road
-Time Bomb Town (sounds kind of like This is The Time, so it would probably rock out well!)
-Johnny Stew
-DW Suite
-Countdown

And of course, about 4-5 other great songs from OotC. Maybe also throw in:

-The Ledge
-Walk a Thin Line
-Caroline OR Tango in the Night
-Murrow
-Red Rover
-Say Goodbye

And we have a helluva show, with MINIMAL Fleetwood Mac stuff we've already heard!

Alas, I digress... he's not listening to me.

Adam

yes, imo he doesn't need to do any FM tunes

all solo would force him to do tunes like DW Suite or Loving Cup etc!

Amen!!!!!!!!!! Fall tour next year would kick some serious major a$$age!! I would kill to hear him do Bwana, I love that song! His singing on this on SNL is phenominal because he goes all over the dang place. He's got this sort of Elvis thing goin' on too when he sings that one. You can't say Lindsey doesn't sing interestingly.

OMG how I don't agree. I think it is one of the most honest straight from the gut played live songs I've heard from him. And I don't particular adore Bwana-studio. Just like it. But this version? WHHHHOOOOOAAAAA!!!!!!

I guess I'm the opposite, I love the studio version so much when I heard it live I was dumbfounded.
