It looks like the little worm is gone. He did the same thing in that Homer thread in the Stevie forum awhile back. He's not so brazen here as he was on Chris' message board. |

Perhaps he is scared of a backstage wine toss in the face and a slap for good measure - not to mention the concurrent tongue lashing

If I recall, he mentioned he understood her leaving in several interviews, because he felt the same way in 1987. I pretty much agree with Strand here. I think FM made it clear they missed CM, but also they wanted to continue as a band. Last edited by GypsySorcerer; 03-19-2007 at 10:24 PM.. |

There is a new article in the LB forum where LB says:
Q: Are you in touch with other members of the band? A: We talk, but we don't talk very often. I'll speak to Mick (Fleetwood) a couple of times a year, and Stevie the same. I never had that much contact with John (McVie) anyway, and of course, Christine, she's pretty much burned all of her bridges. But, you know, it's cordial. There's a lot of love there, and maybe some issues still left to work through. After all this time, that's part of the beauty of Fleetwood Mac. http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showthread.php?t=31806 _________________________________________________________ To me, that sounds a little bitter on his part. Moreover, it is not really true. I think if CM called them today and said, I want back in, they would take her back in a second. Bad call LB |

Lindsey Bratingham is the one I'd like to meet the least. What a spoiled brat, crybaby!

Hm. Yeah macfan is right, he has used that analogy before. Not sure what he means exactly. I think geographically she is so far away from them that it probably seems that way, but 'burning bridges' usually means there's a personal element too. Maybe I am reading too much into it.

that's a new one!
re the "burning bridges" quote, i definitely think that kind of language gives the impression of bitterness, and for me, that always seems to simmer under the surface of lindsey's comments about christine. it's never a straight forward "we don't talk anymore." of course, lindsey likes to add in all sorts of illusory language when he speaks, and we all know he likes to repeat himself, so i'm not ruling out the possibility that he means these things in an entirely different tone and is just incapable of expression his real thoughts. (although i highly, highly doubt this.) |
