Question Rock Away Blind - where's the outro?!?!?

the only 3 RAB performances on this tour pasted below. i like BB King's version the best by far - nice and gentle.

but none of these (and it was the same at 92Y) have that gorgeous outro - what's up with that Lindsey?????

NYC -

Wilmington -

Columbus -

I agree! The outro is stellar! However, it is nice to see that Lindsey is FINALLY realizing how GREAT this song is, the crowd reaction, & it is ok to mix up the set list! So, I am thrilled he is including the song! Hopefully, he will continue mixing it up!

re-watching this SWS trailer - which was the first time we ever heard any of RAB (this was before the album came out) and everybody was stunned how beautiful it was -

http://lindseybuckingham.com/media/videos/12501/16501
(RAB instrumental starts at 0.53)

so i came back to this question we kept discussing again and again - why again couldn't Lindsey do this live like in that trailer?

^Because he's not like other people, he does what he wants to.

I agree, BB KIng's is going to be tough to beat <3 He sounded so vulnerable. That was a pretty special performance, and I wish I had been there For me, Fort Worth in particular, was especially good, as well, though I'm sure everyone has their own favorites!

FORT WORTH 8/24/12

CHICAGO 8/27/12

100% agree with that And I hope that now that he's played it a few times, maybe he'll work on it in his free time if he has any, and surprise us with the complete song - including outro - whenever his solo tour resumes.

LOL, but actually, you probably hit the nail square on the head. I think that's exactly why!

I guess Stevie has thought about his personality in these 45 years, maybe once, maybe twice.

2 vids of Council Bluffs RAB -

which others are we missing?

he played it at:

NYC (2nd night)
Wilmington
Columbus
Nashville
Ft Worth
Chicago (2nd night)
Council Bluffs

hmm, so 7 out of 61 dates?

looks like the only one we don't have video of might be Nashville? (can't believe that nobody recorded it in Nashville??)
