Geraint Watkins:
Played with Macca, Knopfler, Nick Lowe, Rory Gallagher, Dr. Feelgood, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Carl Perkins, Van Morrison, Bill Wyman, Dave Edmunds and Shakin Stevens.
Last solo studio album: In A Bad Mood (2008).

Matt Radford:
Played with Nick Lowe together with Geraint Watkins.

I guess these will do more than backing vocals .. probably sing a few of their own songs.

I think he used to be Peter Greens guitar technician in the last period of Splintergroup. He is also in the Man of the World DVD, where he helps Peter Green guide the viewers through his massive guitar collection. You can see how Mike Dodd tries to fascillitate a situation where PG would want to play a bit, but it doesn't really happen. And somehow - when you see it - you sense that PG knows that this is going on - and he doesn't want to comply(I wonder if that is the right word in english) with this non-verbalized wish.

Yes doodyhead - you will be informed. I wonder if he plays anywhere in England first?

Great Vouter!

Just got a bulletin from my friend in Amsterdam that she has got tickets as well. Now I just need the planeticket.

At least there will be two well-meaning supportive people in the audience - if it turns out to be "a not so good night" - as described on that other thread. As I have been going on about a few months ago, I last saw PG with Splintergroup in september 2002 and that was on a good night.

No matter what - whats happening is exciting - I thought he might have retired for good (but at least he wasn't playing golf - (hope I don't insult anyone now)).

That is my intention. I did it with Splinter Group in Stadskanaal (january 18, 2003). That was a good recording, if I may say so myself. All depends on if there is a check and prohibition, where am I going to be in the crowd, etc.
I'll let you know.

Just found out that maybe there's a chance there will be a video recording of the show. If so it can later be watched at:
http://www.fabchannel.com/nl
Apparrantly it will not be live, so I have my doubts.
Take a look at the site right now (I just finished watching Bettye Lavette) to see if you can understand the Dutch instructions. Although it seems rather obvious.
