I did listen to Lindsey when I was standing on the front row in London. While listening to him sing Say Goodbye, I had my fingers in my ears to drown out the crowd noise, so I could hear him better, and his voice was flawless. Perfection. Sure, he may have had bad nights where his voice was tired, but so did Stevie. It was a looooooooong tour.

Default Stevie

I do not run around endlessly posting about how fabulous Stevie is.
I am positive there are some around here who would say she ruined Beautiful Child on this recent tour too...as it didn't sound exactly like it did on Tusk. I thought it was breathtaking but you know others will say it sucked just because it's Stevie.

"Beautiful Child" was her crowning achievement this time around.

Talking Agreed

Beautiful Child is my favorite Tusk song and one of my favorite songs of all time. I was ecstatic to hear it on the tour. I'm hoping and praying for Storms to be done on the next one.

I do wish she would have done BC back in the day with her higher voice, but ah well.

Ya know, I like Lindsey's voice better now . I think it's dropped to a deeper register and I like it much more than the nasal, tinny, high pitchedness in the earlier songs.

I agree. It was the best sounding song of hers on LIB. It was one of the only ones that didn't sound strained.

I think for live performances his voice was great on the Out Of Cradle Tour

I was really, really impressed that she kept "Beautiful Child" in its original key. Even though her voice is now in a lower register, I still think she really pulled off a triumph on that song.

I thought it was the big triumph of the show. It's not my very favorite song (though i do like it) but it was just spellbinding live, to me. Course, Linds's harmonies are a big reason for that, too.

I totally agree, she did a masterpiece of that song. it should have been used as a video from LIB.
