Jaysus Bryan you shoulda been on the presale bandwagon on wednesday.
Gonna be hard to find standing ones now at this stage of the game.

In 09 tickets were going on ebay for as low as £50 so if you wait a few months you will see they will start popping up again.

I will be in the Queue early and am aiming to head straight to the front at lindseys side.

Staying down to and might grab a ticket later in the year for the next night.

If anyone know the hotel they are staying at in Dublin PM me

Holy Crap!! So I decided I was going to go to both dates. the first date I needed 4 tickets the 2nd just 1. Managed to get myself 1 ticket this morning for the 2nd date right before I had to go to college! got blcok C row 16 which I consider to be pretty awesome. Wnated standing all along but what can you do!

Now I log on during my lunch break ( 2hrs later) to find tickets for the 1st date and to my shock they are now both sold out besides the platinum tickets. Which to be honest if I was desperate I would buy.

I am sooo happy I at least got my 1 ticket!! And if during the next few months manage to get the 4 for the 20th will be very happy. Only thing is now I have to tell the ppl I was getting the tickets for that i couldn't get any. Oh well heres to Fleetwood Mac B@$ches!

Exclamation Holy crap!

Seriously....what is so different this time? The hype that they MAY sing a new song? The hype that Christine MAY join them onstage?

I don't get it.

You ain't kidding. Last time around the tickets were expensive but not outrageous. People must think this is going to be their last tour.

The promotion of Fleetwood mac has been massive this time round.
Radio Adverts on 2FM and Today Fm at every interval
Playing FM Constantly on the Radio here.
Anything from Rumours is being Played and Say you will has also had airplay.

The Documentarys have all been on on sky tv on repeat a lot too this past few months.
Plus thy were well up in the charts @ no 2 this time with rumours.
So that helped too.

in 09 there was practically no radio mentions, no tv appearances and they didnt have an allbum or anything in the charts.

Tickets sold out for many of the UK shows in 4 minutes!! We are talking 21,000 capacity venues in some cases.

It is crazy how popular they are at the moment. They have added two more London dates, and the first extra date also sold out in minutes (that's 40,000 tickets shifted just for the first two London shows).

I actually think the promotion kind of started last June when the re-released The Chain Boxset around Fathers Day at a bargain... Kept the price down for months...The boxset stuck around the charts for months... and they sold tons of music in the interim.

Got standing tickets for the second show in Dublin. Was at the PC and logged in before 9am, and tried to get a ticket straight away for the first show and got 'No tickets available' message so thought that was it, I'd missed it.
Was delighted then to see the second date and managed to get tickets for that.
I couldn't believe how quickly it sold out - agree about all the coverage in the media recently so lots of people aware that the tickets were going on sale. Maybe there are quite a lot of new fans like me who have never seen Fleetwood Mac before and also fans who think it might be their last tour so lots of interest all round.

Got a seat right near the back for the first night. Then went back to the listing page and saw the second night! I was too tempted to look and ended up getting standing for the second night! Pretty happy about that.

Now I'm just trying to decide if I should sell the one on the first night...

Last time they played I went to the first night but didn't book the second night until 3pm on the day of the show. This time they're both gone in minutes... pretty cool and I'm glad I was able to get time to sit at the computer this morning because I've very busy this week and missed the presales.

My friend who was buying our tickets wasn't offered any standing tickets for either show. Kind of annoyed by that but we have good enough seats for the 1st night. Hopefully we can find somebody there to swap seats, as we would rather be seated Lindsey side.

RTÉ Ten's top TV picks for tonight
Monday 4 March 2013
http://www.rte.ie/ten/2013/0304/tv.html

Fleetwood Mac Night, Sky Arts1, 10.00pm

They play Dublin this summer but Fleetwood Mac started life as a totally different outfit than the slick AOR machine we know and love today. This documentary celebrates the roots band turned pop rockers who delivered the final word on seventies decadence and bad love with their classic album Rumours. The evening begins with a performance from grievous angel Stevie Nicks followed by an episode of the always fascinating Classic Albums in which the band reveal how they alchemised inter-band turmoil into music gold on Rumours. We finish with Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks' 2004 gig in Boston, where they performed hits including Go Your Own Way, Dreams, Second Hand News, Don't Stop, Rhiannon and Say You Love Me.

No they didnt.

it all a get up - they release maybe a quarter of tickets - usually the crap seats.
to create hype.
then ticketmaster saves the decent seats and put a £400 price tag on them.

it all one big game - where the greedy promoters make $$$$.

On mick fleetwoods page - dublin still has tickets for the meet and greets.

i think alot of people who are just 'casual' fans and not hardcore dont know about this website. I wouldnt have either if it wasnt for someone posting about it on facebook.

nearer the time - i bet that decent seats will be released for face value.
