Default They've messed up Christmas a bit

I normally get something Fleetwood Mac related at Christmas. My family are a bit perplexed this year though- I've noticed them from time to time trying to tease out where I stand. My step daughter recently brought up the European tour and I happened to say I wasn't interested in going. She was visibly taken aback. I later reflected on it and realised I must have come across as a bit of an a$$. I really hope she wasn't planning on getting tickets or worse still, gone as far as to actually get some.

My wife was a bit more direct; 'Do you want the new greatest hits collection?'
'No, I don't want to line their pockets'.
2 minutes later; 'oh, okay, you can get me that if you want'.
Now I feel like a really miserable, ungrateful, difficult git.

They really have made Christmas difficult though as far as presents are concerned. Ho ho bloody ho.

I've seen every tour since Tusk.

I will NOT be seeing this one. F*ck them.

I wish Lindsey was hitting one of my target cities, but he's not(yet, anyway).

Homer-He mentioned in NYC on Tuesday evening that he may extend this one. And he will be touring behind his new album. Hopefully he makes his way to your "hood.....welll worth it. I love every second of it---his energy, passion and genuine joy....not to mention the abundance of gratitude towards all the fans. Truly a class act.

Stevie and Mick are like Scrooge and the Grinch except something tells me that unlike those 2 fictional characters that they will not see the error of their
ways and redeem themselves in the end.

I think he recently hinted at a UK/European visit. That would have been ideal if he announced dates now. Tickets for Lindsey at the Hammersmith Apollo would have been an ideal gift this year.

Abso****inglutely.

Pat Benatar(Benetar?) was rocking, and so was REO Speedwagon.

FM was kind of the lame dog in that race. And NOT that they were lame, but they didn't know who they were....I was mostly pissed off that the audience was all bitching about Old Goat Breath not being there(this was the early days of normal people internet, so most people didn't know). But Bekka Bramlett KICKED ASS. She's the best singer that FM has EVER had. She's still awesome. I saw her about a year ago. PIPES from hell!

Good! I’ll never go to another show of theirs.

I arrived to the venue just in time for Fleetwood Mac to perform. I have always detested Reo Suckwagon. The venue was so desperate to have an audience that they let me in for free. I was going to buy a ticket at the gate. Bekka's version of Gold Dust Woman was utterly fantastic.

It was never cool to like REO, but they had a few catchy songs.

Bekka is a POWERHOUSE of a vocalist, and it's too bad that lineup didn't get more of a chance to shine.
