Default How are tickets selling so far?

Anyone have an accurate gauge on how well the shows are selling?
Looks like NYC is almost sold out. The second LA show still has over a thousand seats available.

I know a few people who want to go but they want to wait until the tour starts to see how they sound.

Sold to whom? Actual fans or scalping companies?

Looks like there are 2 seats right in front of Stevie at MSG for 1800.00..Anyone? Anyone?
MSG actually looks to have a lot of inventory left. Granted--this show isn't until March so.....

Well, some of these shows are nearly a year away. Let’s be fair. And OWTS only hit major markets first, drawing ticket sales from mid-markets. Minneapolis and Chicago were first and this tour has shows in every city in between. Big difference.

I've only looked at the Forum shows, which are not selling well at all. WELL over half the arena is still blue. Typically the LA area sells out quickly (obviously, because it's Los Angeles), which I believe is what happened on the last tour. Very soon after it went on sale, it was mostly filled up.
They're definitely going to need to drop those prices.

The 2nd LA show still has between 1500 and 2000 seats up for grabs.

I'm sure more will sell later in the year, but this reminds me of the first few weeks of the Tusk tour when there were thousands of empty seats up in the rafters -- even at Madison Square Garden.

If they pay me the 3k plus and throw in some airplane tickets and a nice hotel I think I'd be just about willing to sit that close and look at them for a couple hours.

I am paying attention to the 2 NY area shows, no intention of going but curious. Both appear to have a ton of availability. Granted, these shows arent for almost a year, but.....
Methinks they are going to have to “hone” their interview skills, get their “stories” straight, and hit the interview circuit. They should just let John do the talking. He speaks so infrequently, people might actually believe him

Gonna be a lot of scalpers taking a bath on this tour.

Imagine if 1/2 the seats sold to date are actually scalpers....these arenas are more empy than they even appear online.

100%. I have to think in the quiet recesses of their minds, they have to be a little nervous. Wonder what “plan b” is?

Serious question. I thought bands negotiated their fee upfront, and it's the promoters that have to make their money on ticket sales. Or is FM running the tour as the promoter?

Imagine that half of the seats are not in the hands of scalpers but actually "re-sold" seats from TM. Yes, it's still a scalper transaction but they are still TM owned seats/inventory. That's even more bleak. I don't think scalpers were in a hurry to buy these tickets.
