Love is here to stay and Lay down for free were early favorites for me and stayed to this day.

Red sun is huge fun in the car. And I love verses to On with the show. Too far gone is one of the favorites live and always brings down the house for them.

The only two songs I still skip almost every time are In my world and Game of pretend.

I adore Too Far Gone - to me it sounds like the sister song of World Turning (the guitar riff, the rhythm, even the melody of "maybe I'll move to the other side of town") and my ultimate goal would be for them to do a mashup of the two on their next tour.

Wishful thinking...

Christine and Lindsey have some really tight harmonies. Especially, on Too Far Gone.

This is such a fun album, I'm really enjoying it.

Favourites:
Christine- toss up Too Far Gone (deja vu from 1970 album song of the same name and Carnival Begin- lovely heartfelt and beautiful.
Lindsey- Love is Here to Stay - great song and the best of his finger picking style.

I can't discount Christine's other songs, yes even Game of Pretend. She just knocks the whole thing out of the park.

I got the CD last week after having only had the Amazon download since it came out. It sounds so much better on CD than MP3. I wonder if the Apple AAC were better but I'm much happier with the CD. I can hear so much more detail and it sounds less like TISL. Warmer and richer, which if something missing from FM albums since Mirage.

well, ProTools sure does.

There's so many vocal layers and so much ****ing tweaking of them it's hard to say if they can really harmonize with each other or not.... they sure can when you twist the knobs the right way though.

So you think all those harmonies of Stevie with herself (singing 2 Octaves above her vocal range) on the last two records are natural? LOL

I'd have a hard time believing that she sang two NOTES above herself, these days.

Not sure if you saw the any of the shows... but when they sang Hold, Me I had goosebumps. And then look at the history... World Turning.. and Live versions.

ISA Mirage. EOTW. So many examples.

Kinda surprises me to say it, but "Sleeping Around the Corner." I just love that huge chorus.
