this is a very good point.

i was thinking along similar lines the other day - how great lindsey sounds at his solo shows when doing newer songs, and also on Sad Angel, as opposed to most songs from 70s (aside from ISA and similar), and then it struck me - that's because he wrote new songs for his current voice!

true. especially since this band thinks that on every tour they need to do every single even minor hit they ever had.

that's why i love the idea of this thread - where people can truly come up with stuff they would love to hear and would make them totally freak out if they ever get that chance!

we had and still have tons of threads before every tour on what we think setlist will actually be, what we think the band will select, what we think has a slim chance to maybe make it in, etc etc - a more realistic and depressing threads like that.

Have to agree on the latter back catalogue remark, there are some good ones on SYW that could be trotted out. Thrown Down would be EPIC and it could always replace Stand Back...

Any new arrangement, new staging, or slightly new take on a very old song. I will be excited to hear Christine's voice added to the hits. But if any of these songs are included, I'll jump up and down more than the people in costumes do for the Stevie songs.

Stevie and/or Lindsey
Crystal (John's fav...a very good song, about time they do it again)

Stevie
Gypsy (Acoustic Version)
Fireflies
Beautiful Child
Seven Wonders
Thrown Down
Angel (this one sounds very similar to Think About Me)

Lindsey
Blue Letter
A different big guitar solo song (Tango maybe?)
What Makes You Think You're the One
Something else that hasn't been played in a long time (not Eyes, not Not That Funny, not IKINW)
Big Love (Non-acoustic)

Christine (not counting the big hits I'll be thrilled to hear)
Little Lies
Isn't It Midnight (I love how she introduces this song in videos, the way she would this next song is Isn't It Mid-night)
Think About Me
Love In Store
Oh Daddy
Hold Me
Why

Band
Albatross
Tango in the Night set
An acoustic set with songs like Gypsy and 1-2 others we've never heard given such a treatment

Lindsey-
The Ledge
I Know I'm Not Wrong
That's Enough for Me

Stevie-
I Don't Want to Know
Storms
Fireflies
Angel
(and please get rid of Stand Back; either IDWTK or Fireflies would work to replace it)

Christine-
Spare Me a Little
Why
Brown Eyes
Never Make Me Cry
Love in Store

I would *love* your choices.

Here's my setlist. I've made significant changes to the main form of the setlist they play, alongside new selections.

1. Monday Morning
2. You Make Lovin’ Fun
3. Gypsy
4. Bleed To Love Her
5. Angel (or Freedom)
6. Spare Me A Little Of Your Love
7. I’d Rather Go Blind
8. Hypnotized
9. Tusk
10. Rhiannon
11. Say You Love Me
12. Eyes Of The World
13. Dreams
14. Little Lies
15. Big Love (Acoustic)
16. Without You
17. World Turning
18. Oh Well
19. The Chain

Encore
20. Landslide or Silver Springs – varies per show
21. Don’t Stop
22. Go Your Own Way
23. Songbird

As you can see, my idea buries The Chain and Landslide deep into the setlist because they pretty much always are placed in the same spot. This'll make people want them more. And it'll make Landslide more special for this tour if it's alternated with Silver Springs.

I'd Rather Go Blind is in here as a dedication to Christine and Fleetwood Mac's blues roots, and Spare Me... and Hypnotized for the Bob Welch era - I'm surprised, despite all that happened, they haven't played one of his songs already. Can anyone shed light on if they ever said anything about losing Bob on the 2013 tour?

Freedom could be an alternate for Angel, but it's faster than everything around it, so if it *were* used, the setlist would have to move around a bit.

For You Make Lovin' Fun, the alternate arrangement would be played.

Word.

I'd love some new arrangements on songs they'll surely do.

On YMLF, Lindsey and Stevie should do backing vocals on the chorus.

On Dreams, Chris and Lindsey should do the "Lonely... Ooh-hoo" parts. (A complete rearrangement of this song would be even better).

On Gypsy, Chris and Lindsey doing the background parts that run all through the recorded version.

More singing from those three voices would be awesome and these songs are the ones I feel are a bit lacklustre live.
