Fantastic!
Where did that come from?? Sounds a similar production to Love Minus Zero/No Limit. Lindsey should really release more stuff rather than sitting on it!! |

Many Thanks for that LukeA. What a great cover by Lindsay and such a pity that the Joni tribute album never got released. The clip that you released back in 2000(?) was so so tantallizing and I along with lots of others always wondered what the full version was like. Now we know.
Many Many thanks once again. Blue Horizon |

So what was the big deal about keeping this song all under wraps for so long. It was very okay.
Its weird of Lindsey to keep it so close to the original format. But its more than great to get a new song, Its his own fault if they end up getting leaked cos it seems like he was never going to release it. However it's a timely leak given the fact he is releasing an album in october. Maybe this is one of the tracks. I like the Middle Solo Many Thanks for posting, but im not sold on it just yet.

Really, really good. Love the acoustic guitars all over it and the ending is very powerful. See, it goes to show that he can still do his own take on someone else's song without changing it completely.
Here, if anywhere, the usual phrase "thanks for sharing" is in order.

Thank you!
Thank you very much for posting this! After years of no new music after OOTC (until GOS leaked), it is refreshing to get songs like this. I don't understand why LB's music has to be "leaked" to get to his fans. Oh well, I am just grateful. This is a masterful version of a classic.
BTW, a European Joni Mitchell tribute album was released in 2000, but it does not contain LB's version of "Big Yellow Taxi." The cover popped up when I played LB's version on Windows Media Player, but when I checked it out on Amazon, some other unknown artist's version (female) is on that version. |

Acoustic enough for an acoustic solo-album? Maybe that's the first leak from Under the skin? LOVE the drums! And the overal sound! Except for the oohlalala's. The ending is soooooo lindsey. gorgeous, thanks LukeA!!!!!!

Welcome back...it's been a whole lifetime! Thanks for sharing this! (finally! ) Why the change of heart? Are you burning bridges by doing this? Gerald, see? Now THIS is how to cover a tune.
