I've met him once, and he was very gracious.

He was seated, in a roped-off area, before the show, and I stepped right over the ropes and walked up to him as security watched. LOL. I shook his hand and told him he was my fave drummer, and he thanked me, and I said "Enjoy the show," and walked away. Later, after the concert, my friend that attended the show with me, somehow managed to talk her way back-stage, and as I stood out-side the back-stage doors waiting, Mick walked right up to me, and shook my hand again and asked me my name and we talked a few minutes about how great the concert was. He was very nice. Very much a gentleman. After a few minutes, he excused himself and walked back-stage. I was bummed he didn't invite me! LOL. When my friend finally came out, she said she saw Sharon and a few band members, but security was tight and couldn't see Stevie. We heard some screaming and saw Stevie being escorted to her limo, and I screamed her name and she turned and smiled at us and waved. That was quite a fun evening! I also remember standing in line before the show, her brother, Christopher walked by us and talked to fans in line. Most of the questions people asked him were regarding "Trouble in Shangri-la," asking when it was finally being released, would any songs be performed at the concert, etc. He was pretty tight-lipped about it and said it was almost finished, and no, he didn't think she'd perform any of the new songs before it was released. One other interesting part of that evening was, the lady that gave Stevie the Snoopy in the famous HBO "Stevie Nicks in concert" video concert was standing next to me in line. It was such a fun night. So many of us die-hard fans all talking before the show, waiting to get in. And the show ROCKED!!! Concerts at clubs are so intimate and so much fun! I loved living in Los Angeles in the late 90's and 2000's! Last edited by TheWildHeart67; 05-16-2017 at 03:37 PM.. |

I just came here to post about Sheryl's cover. I think she does an excellent job as did Brian May on backing vocals

I'm too repulsed to bother checking it out.

Have to disagree just a little... She was not brilliant and quite flat in parts, However it was 9:15 in the morning and she was accompanying herself on acoustic .....LIVE....tho I understand Brian May was also a guest and helped out with backing singing..... She was okay doing a cover of one of her "favourite bands". |
