Mick Fleetwood Band in Hawaii w/Rick & Billy
Watch Billy and Rick perform with the Mick Fleetwood Band in Hawaii.
Fleetwood gives classic tune his own spin Mick Fleetwood gathered the members of his eponymous band in Hawaii for their first few rehearsals. See the fruits of their labor as they kick out "Jumpin' Jack Flash." http://www.rehearsals.com/exclusive/ Scroll down to the second from last performace on the list. You'll first see a short clip of the performace but there's also a button just below the viewing screen to "Play Full Clip". |

I saw that The MF Band had an album out in 2004, but with a new guy I've never heard of. Anybody know if this Vito/Burnette incarnation is going to record? I'd love to hear those two together again.
Then again, I'd love to hear anything Billy has to offer. |

Why did they call it the Mick Fleetwood Band and not the much more accurate Mick Fleetwood's Zoo? Should we look at Mick playing with Billy AND Rick as a sign for the possible 2007 tour? Whatever the case, I think it's cool to see Mick playing with those guys again. (Excuse me, I think I'm drooling. Maybe they'll actually get this one right!)

I thought Billy was currently on tour with John Fogerty?

He is. (But the bastards aren't coming to Northern California... grrr...)
He also appears on John's new "Long Road Home" DVD. |

Mick says: "we're still a band" & "we'll be going out next year"
Interesting...

Hopefully Nashville's Mac-luck will hold out and Mick will bring this group thru here on a tour.
That would be great to see Billy and Rick together.... and of course Mick drumming is always a show in itself.
