I recorded the two nights at the L.A. Forum, which I guess are circulating. All these performances were so similar, really. I don't think anyone has San Diego on tape, but just pretend your copy of L.A. is San Diego, & there ya go!

Thanks for recording them....i was at the 12-7 show when i lived out there and i do have an audio of most of the show....for some reason, in the middle (right around Brown Eyes) i lost a few songs....so i don't have GDW or DLMDA....i'm really glad that i can get my hands on a better copy...mine also has too much audience noise (me included)....

thanks for posting the link to that site also (whoever it was).

you know, that was actually a decent set list back then....it was really cool that they bridged the old FM with the new FM.

The best quality BTM bootleg that I have is the Manchester show. It's a soundboard and the sound quality is excellent. Also, there are a few little interesting quirks with this show. Stevie dedicates Landslide to Christine's brother who was in the audience and she mixes up the lyrics on Gold Dust Woman. She sings take your "Silver Springs" instead of "silver spoon" at the beginning of the song. The whole show is great and as far as I know it's the only soundboard from that tour that has circulated.

Also, the Fresno show from the Tango tour is another good one. It's also from a radio broadcast. This bootleg & the Germany show are the best of the Tango shows, in my opinion.

I think that Manchester show was a radio broadcast -- BBC-1 or BBC-2 or whatever -- that was bootlegged in a nice 2-disc package about a year or two later.

From Salt Lake City 1990, we've got "Save Me" & "Stop Messin' Round" on soundboard (mislabeled frequently as "Wembley Arena 1988"). The rest of Salt Lake City should show up some day; it's part of the Harding Stash.

Also, there are a bunch of songs from a 1990 tour rehearsal on soundboard, including "Dreams," "Rhiannon," "The Chain" & "When the Sun Goes Down." The band played "When the Sun Goes Down" at Cal Expo Amphitheater in Sacramento & at Shoreline in the South Bay. It's not on the Las Vegas Aladdin video eight days later, so I guess they dropped it early.

BTM tour- Stop Messin Round- HOLY **** Rick Vitos guitar solo was incredible. Unbelieveable! I have lots of videos from this tour and every solo is awesome! EVERYWHERE- Rick added these riffs onto the song that made it awesome! (and of course we get some stevie twirls too!)

DLMDA was awesome of course on TITN!
Over My head was a nice treat too.

WHY DID STEVIE DROP GYPSY AND RHIANNON BY NOVEMBER OF 87???????????????????????????????????????????????

Now, I don't have any '87 boots, and was deemed too young to see a rock concert in 1987 (mom thought 13 was too young), so I've been VERY curious about "Rattlesake Shake." Who sang lead, and how did it come off?

Oh, and as for Billy wanting to do DLMDA, the Buckingham Nicks version of that song sounds so much like Delaney Bramlett (another of his idols), that I wouldn't be at all shocked if he'd been playing that for many years prior to 1987 just for sh*ts and giggles.

Revisiting this old thread with some new info: I suspect we're going to see two or three never-before-heard soundboard recordings of some of those 1987 shows in the next few months, thanks to the illustrious, generous, charming Tiffany (whose site www.bluewhitefire.com is a kick).

More & more surfaces all the time, & I'm still amazed by fans who can get all wet over some silly plan the record companies have to release something. We don't need the record companies any more. Extirpate them from your thinking. Who gives a damn what their release plans are? (with the important exception of Peter Green-era Mac, rarities of which are continually being released officially)

As I think back over the last 25 years or so of my FM fanaticism, I marvel at the fact that the vast majority of exciting favorites in my collection had nothing to do with a record company.

As Hawkeye said, Rick did. It was bone-crunching rock & roll live & in person, & that's always a good thing at a Fleetwood Mac show.

Speaking of "I Loved Another Woman" (as I had earlier in this thread ), I saw a track listing of a poorly recorded 1974 show with ILAW as an encore tune. I wonder if that was an error (mistaking it for BMW or something), or did Bob Welch & company REALLY play ILAW back then?

It was not an error. I have that show. Bob & Christine do it as a duet. It's radically different than the Rick Vito versions.
