Default Rumours Vinyl Rerelease

So I don't know if this has been posted, but apparently for Record Store Day, Rumours is going to be rereleased on vinyl. The original album will have an initial pressing of 3000 units, but it will remain in print! Then there will be a deluxe double vinyl released also, but only a TOTAL of 4000 copies will be pressed. Both can be preordered on Amazon.

http://nickslive.blogspot.com/2011/0...umours-by.html

Any thoughts on this? I always go into stores that don't carry a large selection of vinyls, but have a section of new ones, such as Hastings or Best Buy, and I always see new copies of older albums (such as Dark Side of the Moon), but of course there is never any Fleetwood Mac! So I'm def. excited that a vinyl of Rumours will remain in print and on some shelves What I want to know is what is on this "Deluxe" edition. Perhaps it will be the same as the deluxe CD released in 2004?

ya know, I might actually buy this! I don't own any vinyl albums (except for Stevie's Wild Heart that my mom gave me). To have Rumours on vinyl, though not an "original" would be very cool!

I too would assume that the double vinyl issue is probably the same as the 2 disk CD reissue.

I wonder about "Silver Springs." Would they be able to fit it on the vinyl reissue? Would they won't to?

Silver Springs don't belong there. And I got the 180 vinyl version of it on Crystal Visions--and it is BEEEEAAAAUUUUTIFUL

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I'm not paying $34.99 for a double LP when I have no idea what's on it... especially when I can get any copy of Rumours on eBay for five bucks.

Here's the Amazon links for the standard release and the deluxe release.

Standard
http://www.amazon.com/Rumours-Fleetw...ref=pd_sim_m_1

Deluxe
http://www.amazon.com/Rumours-Fleetw...0737188&sr=1-1

Basically $20 for the standard and $35 for the deluxe. Not alot of info otherwise through Amazon.

I wish they would release an album they haven't released on vinyl yet and that would be The Dance. I've been waiting patiently for a long time, but I don't think it's gonna happen It would be soooo amazing to have!

Hear hear! Although I already have Rumours on vinyl I might have thought about picking this up if I had a clue what was on it. If I did get it it wouldn't be until it's released anyway so I at least know. No pre-order from me! This sucks that there is so little info.

I just checked Amazon again today. Still no new/more information. The price for the deluxe edition did drop a dollar or two.

Here's a comment from somebody on the nickslive website...

I done bought "Rumours" on vinyl in 1977.
On 8 track in 1979 because my car had one.
On cassette in 1980 because my new car had on.
On High frequency vinyl in 1983.
On CD in 1986.
On VHS the making of "Rumours" in 1998.
On DVD the making of in 2000.
On CD when they remastered it in 2003.

I am done buying the same music, over and over again. No matter now good it is, they have gotten enough of my money ! ! !

I've got it!
If mammary serves, I think I had 3-4 8-tracks of it....2 cassettes, 2 LPs, 1 CD, the remastered CD, the DVD-A....
So I did DL a couple of albums, without paying for them, on Limewire(Future Games, and Bare Trees). But I feel no guilt, because I've paid the royalties for Tumours, ELEVEN times! How many lines of blow did I buy for the band?
