In that case, most of SYW and Mirage would have been culled by me.

1975--sorry, like it just the way it is.
Rumours -- although I like "I Don't Want To Know"...I would put "Silver Springs" on instead. (even thought it wouldn't fit an LPs running time) Tusk -- oh don't get me started...suffice it to say I'd trim this sucker down to a single album. Mirage -- would've tried to convince them to not even release this one...just release "Gypsy" as the single with "Hold Me" as the B-side and let it go at that. Well, being that it was their first NEW album of the CD age, release a 4 song CD single: "Gypsy", "Hold Me", "Eyes Of The World", "Wish You Were Here" Tango -- Dump that piece of dog feces called "Welcome To The Room...Sara" and replace it with "Book Of Miracles", but make Stevie finish it so it ended up as "Juliet".

I can't really pick any to eliminate.

Gypsy, with Eyes of the World and Wish You Were Here Hold Me, with That's Alright and Teen Beat I wish FM had utilized the 12" Single and E.P formats with habitual frequency.

White: "Warm Ways"
Rumours: none Tusk: "Never Make Me Cry" Mirage: "Wish You Were Here" Tango: "Family Man" or "Welcome to the Room...", it's SO hard to decide. The Dance: "Sweet Girl" Say You Will: "What's the World Coming To" I like Christine McVie a lot more than this post makes it seem. I just like her rootsy stuff more than the sleeker pop. Stevie Nicks basically didn't do a single thing wrong for me until Tango (when it comes to Mac records). Last edited by redbird; 02-14-2013 at 12:37 AM.. |
