First you need to email several prominent tree authors and ask them about it. Their advice is invaluable. Then write a song called "I Like Trees" in the style of Street Angel era Stevie Nicks. And finally go caress a tree , feel its need for you to climb it.

The tree's embrace means nothing, Greg. They'll find another climber as determined as you are, even though you thought you had something special, like you had a chance with that tree in the first place. I agree with Sharon, though. You must write a song about it.
