Default Question about the Dance (taped show)

In the 3 nights they played in Burbank for the live recording, did they actually play the whole set like on the dance tour. Like did they cut, Stand Back, Not that funny, and Oh Daddy? Or did they just play the 22 songs we get on the dvd?

Actually, I thought the revamped "Oh Daddy" was a much better choice. I thought The Dance performance of "Over My Head" was pretty weak.

And what about Oh Well? I've still never seen this song performed live.

...and you probably never will. I don't see it ever coming back with Lindsey fronting the band.

TOTALLY agree! Why not just do it a la the Midnight Special performance, when it totally rocked?

As I've said before, I think with Peter Green playing music and touring (up until recently) again, Fleetwood Mac doesn't feel the need to "carry the torch" for Greeny anymore. While it is a fan favorite, I've always suspected THAT was the real reason they kept it in the set all those years. The last time Fleetwood Mac played the song was in 2005. Peter Green started playing live on a regular basis around 1996. Maybe the band feels that Peter Green is now perfectly able to carry on his own legacy.

Yeah, "Daddy" was a good-sounding blast from the past. I especially loved Brett's nice little piano arrangement on it.

I don't know what he did on it... I can't hear much in the boot I have. All the piano part is is like, two octaves of the lowest Ds on the piano. Or at least, that's what it's supposed to be.

I don't think it was weak. Just maybe it bit boring. Though I think watching Lindsay doing the harmonics is interesting. It looks like he's not even playing, but then again, a lot of The Dance looks like that, due to overdubs and the studio-like setting.
