Just got back from the Aviator, and I must say, it was pretty good. A little long, maybe, but very good. I thought DiCaprio did a fine job as did Cate Blanchett (I love this girl) as Katharine Hepburn.

Oh and Cate deserves an Oscar for her turn as Hepburn. She was utterly convincing despite the fact she doesn't look a thing like her.

I agree that Cate deserves an Oscar - she was great, and got even better as the film went on.

I think trimming about 10 minutes off the end would have helped some. But overall, very, very good.

I wanted to see it, too. Thanks for the heads up. Although, since i read the review yesterday, I've wanted to see Hotel Rwanda...oops, anyways.
