Adelaide 10/28th 2015
please bear with me i just got home and have a migraine and my ears and still ringing. I will do better later today. but thought i would post some highlights. my vids are $h! T and my pics are $h IT so i prob aint even gonna bother. i was behind 2 speakers and right under the big screen soooooo i have banned myself from watching/listening to clips so I have only seen a bunch of Nicole's gifs. sorry if i'm repeating stuff you've already all heard.
- Stevie announced the show as their 108th she gave a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig speech about how they don't normally play outdoors so this was special and reminded her of when they used to play shows in the 70s ... which most of us prob wouldn't know about coz we weren't born yet but she said they were good I think Lindsey came up and told her something here i couldn't see him but she stopped talking lol and then started up on something else i think it was here. he got up very very close in her face and that's all i remember lol - GDW has evolved into the most amazing thing on this planet. holy wow. - the Gypsy speech is beautiful too *cries a river of tears* - there was like some partial Sara side hug thing going on i dunno I was filming the screen and missed it. it was a great version though - don't remember it very well from SYW but BTLH sounds great, might have been my fave song of the night with GDW. - Chris sounds amazing. Chris looks amazing. I am not even a Chris fan but she seems so happy to be back up there. And Stevie was so happy she was up there and they all seem in a really great place. I dunno. Even SnL lol and that's really all i care about. okay no, all I care about is Stevie. but it was all nice and cohesive and loving. - ISA/NGBA/Big LOve ... all still AMAZING. Lindsey is INSANE. I love all his songs live. Especially Red Rover *sigh* that needs to come back - Tusk ... i could live without that and SYLM. Was not really a fan of TAM but i like it. - SILVER SPRINGS ... prob where i was positioned but it sounded awfully pitchy and Stevie didn't go highhhhhhhhhh high hiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. i love the changed lyrics though. fabulous. - oh and Landslide had too much cute overload i don't even remember anything specific. i think she dedicated it to us. i'm sad there's no SOTM or Seven Wonders though i could live without Dreams for the reinclusion of one of those that's about all i can think of atm.

She seems to laugh after he spoke to her, so it can't have been too bad, lol.

Fleetwood Mac family finally felt complete
October 28, 2015 7:12pm Nathan Davies The Advertiser http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/s...-1227586790897 FEW bands have been through as much as Fleetwood Mac and lived to tell the tale. They took the ’70s ethos of sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll to its limit, with the sex and the drugs threatening to end the rock ’n’ roll on more than one occasion. Perhaps that’s why Wednesday night’s show at Coopers Stadium had such a feel-good vibe – the Mac are like a dysfunctional family who’ve had some therapy, buried the hatchet and turned up for Christmas lunch with smiles on their faces. And the family finally felt complete, with songwriter/keyboardist/vocalist Christine McVie back where she belongs after 16 years away from the band. “This is quite an auspicious occasion,” McVie told the full stadium. “I haven’t been to Adelaide for 30 years.” The crowd welcomed her with open arms – her voice and her songs are a vital piece of the Fleetwood Mac puzzle. McVie looked effortlessly cool behind the keys, standing at the right hand of former husband and bass player John McVie who was, together with mercurial drummer Mick Fleetwood, rocking the “Morris dancers on acid” look. Stevie Nicks was front and centre, the eternal waif, and next to her was guitarist and vocalist – and former lover – Lindsey Buckingham, looking youthful and handsome in jeans and a sports coat. |
