Thumbs up 21 Grams

I just got back from the movies....21 Grams....incredibly heartbreaking but such an excellent film. Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro are amazing and Naomi Watts...she definately deserves her Oscar nomination

Agree 100% Risster.

To be honest I usually find del Toro to be inexplicably annoying and I also was looking for an opportunity throughout the movie to fault Naomi's much-touted performance - but in both cases I was wowed into submission by one of the grittiest yet relatable dramas I've seen in a long time. Sean Penn also deserves any nods he gets.

As do I but like you, I was unable to find any faults with them. I thought there were portions of the film that were a little sluggish in the beginning but then you get so wrapped up in the story that it doesn't really matter.

I have a feeling if Sean Penn hadn't been nominated already for Mystic River, he would have been nominated for his role in 21 Grams...i'm glad to see he's finally getting the recognition he's deserved after all these years. He really is a fantastic actor.

Benicio Del Torro deserves the Oscar for best supporting actor hands down. Glad you enjoyed the movie, it's definitely one of the better films I've seen this year.
