That's fine, I wouldn't want to be "ruining a good thing" for any those precious few fans who feel they are somehow more special than the rest of us.

When I try to play this through Windows Media Player it doesn't work. Can someone PLEASE send me the track via AIM Murrow86 or just post the song right on a post? Wouldn't that be much easier??

well, I checked my cox.net account and it says I can't recieve a file that is larger than 5.1mb so I guess the file must be larger than that. I'd offer to post it on my web space, but I have no idea how I would be able to get it to post. Hopefully someone who was able to get it will post it.

hey Mich, I guess all the newbies will have to learn the hard way the joys of patience and anticipation...

though, sulamith, I do have to agree with you, some diehard fans but not all hardcore fans...just doesn't sound fair!

I think maybe the rule should be you have to be at least a Senior Ledgie before fellow Ledgies send you songs!!!

my only real concern is that the song will end up as some fan ripoff cd for sale on ebay

No actually,no one told me to keep it quiet..i got it from someone on Mick's message board after talking about the demo.It was a total fluke...he said something about a version with Lindsey,and i was curious..Believe me,if i had been told to keep it on the DL i would have.So i don't think i intentionally ruined anything...b.c i sure as hell don't want the whole album leaked like TISL was..but to all the people i did send it to,a solemn apology...if my sharing ruined your day...i am sorry

I will wait. I don't want to ruin the excitement of the album for myself. It is like when I go to concerts I am always tempted to check past setlists and by doing so I know what will be performed. That is a killer.

...But I don't think Ledgie status should make a difference. I consider myself one of Stevie's best fans and am very knowledgeable on her life and music, released and unreleased but I just don't post as much on this board as many of you and I have been a Ledgie since February of 2001. I don't want to hear this version of Thrown Down until I have the CD. I have the demo so at least I know a little about it. I totally shouldn't have this copy either but I have had it before I knew it was going to be a FM song. Hehehe that's my explanation, is it a good one? haha

I bet it is amazing with Lindsey on it. I cant wait to here it!!!

Sara, how could you of ruined the song for the people you sent it to? The reason I ask this question is because they were begging to hear it and if they got it they are probably really happy!!! As I would be also. The only way you would of ruined anything is if you made everyone listen to it even people like me who doesn't want to hear any of the new album.

Wildhrt315, I was just about to type the exact same thing you just said. Sarah didn't hold anyone down and make them listen to the song. She responded to people who asked for it. So I'm not sure why people are upset here. That being said....I'd like a listen dear Sarah...my email address is a few posts above this one.
