Listening to Big 80s countdown. This week in 1983, If Anyone Falls is at #18. Robert Plant's Big Log at #20. To have a solo Robert Plant and a solo Stevie Nicks at the height of her powers almost back to back on a pop radio countdown is incredible! Gosh 1983 was so good for music. Remember Frank Stallone's Far From Over. IMHO this was the last year of good music before the British invasion of programmed light crappy pop took over the charts. Remember Stray Cats? Hard rockers Def Leppard and Quiet Riot in the countdown!

It really brings you back when you hear Casey's voice.

I listen to the Big 80s countdown. Its the MTV VJ's that host it. Casey does the 70s countdown on the 70s channel

Ahhh, I see. I guess that's what I tune into on occasion.

Now this is freaky.
I went to a gas station early this morning to get air in my tires. Someone was using the air pump so I was waiting outside my car. The gas station had music outside and Gypsy came on. I had a few minute wait for the other guy so I decided to take my valve caps off and put them in the car while I was waiting. I took them off and opened my car door and I heard Gypsy coming from the inside of my car. Gypsy was on Yacht Rock Sirius. I mentally told myself...you idiot the music is coming from your car, not the gas station. Then I went back outside my car and could hear the ending of Gypsy. Both the gas station and my radio station were both playing Gypsy. The gas station was Gypsy was ending when the radio Gypsy was mid-way. Altough they started within a minute or two of each other.
Now THAT is truly an "unexptected" Fleetwood Mac. What are the chances.

Were they in sync?

That $tevie is like herpes, you just can't seem to run her off. She'll follow you down to war*s that haunt you.

To be fair, she's not the only one in that band or crew that had herpes.

No. But it was a bit confusing because at one point I thought it was maybe the gas station also playing Yacht Rock radio. They were off a minute or two. Just a really weird happening.

Oh, I'm sure of that. As much as I'm jealous that I wasn't able to have all that 1970's carefree sex, I'm thankful in another way. Breathing...
