I _adore_ Isn't It Midnight? ! I think it has to be probably my favourite Chris song ever, and one of my favourite Mac songs ever. And I've never seen it live!

Just finished watching Top Gun again for umpteenth time.
Keep thinking how much Isn't it Midnight would have fitted in well with the likes of Danger Zone and Playing With the Boys. Isn't it Midnight may have been a bit late for the film in reality but it has that 1980's Bruckheimer feel to it.
How cool would it have been for Tom Cruise to be sat in his cockpit thinking about Kelly McGillis with Fleetwood Mac blaring away in the background?

It always reminds me of Highway to the Danger Zone.

My all time favourite Christine song. Fingers crossed they perform it on the upcoming tour.

I love the song but never liked the studio Tango album version because of the effects and icing. I was wondering if there were any early studio demos of it in particular. I could swear I did hear a more stripped-down version on radio 'back in the day', but it was probably live?

The version on The Chain 25 Years box set is a bit more stripped down then the Tango album track.
