Yep, thanks for posting. I took a look at Dinky Dawsons tourlist because of Austria march 13 and Vienna march 25. Dinky states march 13 as Amsterdam which is probably right because after that they went to Belgium (lousy 200 km) on march 14 and back to Holland on march 15 (Rotterdam (I WAS THERE )).
So I guess Jim Watson made a slip of the pen .

Using the article posted by Becca (thank you) and comparing the info found in Celmins’ biography, Dawson’s “Life on the Road” and Christopher Hjort’s “Strange Brew” and the FM Legacy tour listings, I think the band’s itinerary in March and April of 1970 might have looked something like this:

I think Wouter Vuijk might remember the venue in Rotterdam? I have seen some films of outdoor events in a park by the water from around then, wonder if it was one of those?

WOW! That's interesting...I knew the "Munich incident" took place in March of '70; but, never knew that they PLAYED in Munich on the 22nd...which is my birthday! That's just a little eerie.

But you weren't born in 1970 were you chili? That would be somewhat ill-starred from the sounds of thing.

I found out some stuff that was recorded the day I was born (a fairly well known Dionne Warwick single) and where some big groups were playing. Pink Floyd was supposed to play on my actual birth day but there was some legal or equipment snafu and while I have a repro of the gig poster it never happened, they went and ate sugar cubes instead.

Magical sugar cubes, there're a few photos of them on a fire escape and Syd with a cube on his tongue.

Oh, no...1970...that would've been my 14th birthday. But, still..."things that happen in the world on your birthday" (as opposed to "day of your birth") just seem to be magnified in importance!

I was thinking back last night that in 1967, the one & only time I ever was IN Munich, I read the headline of an English language newspaper while walking down the street toward the Hofbrau Haus (I know, 11 yrs old & drinking beer, but I HAD parental consent!! ) that told of Beatles' manager Brian Epstein's death. So, I guess me & Munich should just never cross paths again.

Thanks, great list. Why do you figure Frankfurt was cancelled though? Most of those listings are guesswork anyway. It's pretty well documented Green and at least one additional band member only stayed at the commune one night.

If Frankfurt was cancelled I suppose it would lend some evidence to events in Munich taking a toll.

The venue in Rotterdam was in concerthall "De Doelen" (see attachment).
The festival in the park (also Rotterdam) took place on june 26-28, no Fleetwood Mac. I wanted to go there, but my then girlfriend (age 15/16?) wasn't allowed by her parents because they felt she was too young (however, her younger brother did go.....) and I felt I had to show solidarity, so I didn't go either. My later girlfriend (now wife) has a brother who was a steward at the festival.

It does, however, for me, having people like Jenny and Cliff also saying that Peter wasn't the same afterward was what convinced me. They have no incentive to back the story as told by Mick and John, and even Christine.

I wrote that the Frankfurt show may have been canceled because as noted, Celmins, Dawson and Hjort all leave that city out of their accounts.
That does not mean that they didn’t play the date though. Neither Celmins nor Dawson offers a complete listing of the shows played. Celmins leaves out seven of the twenty cities played.
In Dawson’s account, he states the “next night” after Munich was Nuremburg, but again, there are many errors of memory in his book.
Hjort seems to have taken his cue from Dawson and writes that the tour “resumed” on the twenty-forth, in Nuremburg.
It may not have been Green who was unable to play after his night at the commune, it might have been the others who were too shook up, and wanted a night off.
It also seems possible that it took longer than we think to extricate Green and the others from the house, and by the time they were ready to leave, it was simply too late to make the trip to Frankfurt.
I do not claim to know any more than anyone else say that they know that they did play that night.

Admitting no special knowledge of the events, listening to the available performances recorded after Munich, some just days after, it is apparent that the problems that would engulf Green did not begin right after Munich. The trips he took there may have been the catalyst, but their full effect still took some time to manifest themselves.
