Well Stevie's on there. Is it just me or has the main melody been changed from an acoustic to an electric? Cause I haven't heard the org. vesion in a while.

LOVE THIS SONG.

Exclamation Hmm....

I've listened to it twice now...and um...I don't like Stevie on it. *ducking* I can't hear Lindsey and it's HIS song! LOL I like his solo version that we got from sararhiannon.com. BUT, hearing it on TV and hearing it on CD are two different things...we'll see when this album comes out...soon!!!!!!!!!

Question BGV's...

Are there other outside voices on the song? Did ya'll hear them? Is it Lindsey and Stevie ONLY? Sounds like other voices to me and I swear to ALL that is HOLY, if it's friggin Sheryl Crowe, I'll poke my eye out with a spoon!!

But it seems as if it's being given a duet treatment. Stevie's singing harmony on both verses and chorus. Unless she's not on the bridge, it could be like "I Don't Want to Know" - written by one, sung together by both.

Oh, no, wait. I just went back and listened to it - on the first verse, Lindsey does sing two lines alone. So I guess it's not a duet, then.

I loved it! I love Stevie's vocals on the song. While the version we all know and love currently is amazingly good I really must say that I find the newer version even better. The song just sounds so...complete.

I really can't wait for the new album now!

Well, I liked "Peacekeeper" from the very first time I heard it, but wow... the addition of Stevie's harmony vocals have totally knocked this one out of the ballpark!
Total home-run here!

I don't think her presence on the verses and chorus detracts from Lindsey at all. Her vocals, although they're clearly noticeable, remain subtle... and they're just the right thing to give an already incredible song, that much more "oompf."

I was totally hoping that we'd clearly hear Stevie on a lot of Lindsey's tunes, just as I was hoping that we'd clearly hear Lindsey on a lot of Stevie's tunes.
The fact is, they sound great together... and to me, it seemed like it would be a total waste if they didn't use that to their best advantage on this album... no matter who wrote what.

With each new snippet of music that we get to hear, I get more and more excited about this album.

Very well said. I'm in total agreement.

I was very pleased to hear Lindsey singing on Thrown Down and now I'm so happy to hear Stevie's excellent vocals on Peacekeeper.

Lindsey and Stevie's vocals are like a perfect circle: one begins where the other ends. They compliment each other so very well.

Hearing little bits here and there is really helping keep my enthusiasm high for the new album. I can't wait for April 15th!
