Wasn’t it the July 1983 Innerview where Stevie says that she (and Lori, Sandy, and Sharon) took the tram up to Jim’s house? She said it was a “dramatic” spectacular way to enter someone’s home.

Semi-OT, but sometimes I like going to Redfin and look at houses for sale in Laurel Canyon.
One time, I saw really nice California modern and said “Woah, I bet that belonged to one of the Eagles!” So, I read the description. J.D. Souther.
