Question "Survey says!!!"

I know we have quite a few newbies, so here is a stupid, fun survey. Yep, I'm bored. LOL

If you could live ANYWHERE in the world, where would you choose?

Colorado (near Estes Park) or London

If you had chosen your name, would you still go with the one mom and dad gave ya or choose something else?

I've always loved the named Brianna, but Christy is a good choice too.

Would you rather be a janitor or work at a fast food restaurant?

Janitor...nobody bothers you. LOL

Favorite birthday memory?

When I was 9, I had a roller skating party and it's my fave ever. It was a lot of fun and the boy I had a crush on was there.

Who are you dying to see in concert that you haven't already?

Thanks to Brian (estranged4life), Keith Urban. Hehe. I saw him on Austin City Limits...WOW. He's pretty freakin cool!

If you could go on tour with FM, would you want to be their:

wardrobe person
sound engineer
Stevie's dog-sitter
Lindsey's guitar technician
personal masseuse

Why would you want to do that particular job?

I'd wanna be a wardrobe person, so I can get Miss Stevie in some friggin COLOR!!! Either that or Lindsey's guitar technician just so I can talk to him and hang out.

Who are you dying to see in concert that you haven't already?

If you could go on tour with FM, would you want to be their:

wardrobe person
sound engineer
Stevie's dog-sitter
Lindsey's guitar technician
personal masseuse

Why would you want to do that particular job?

Sound engineer-For obvious reasons

If you could live ANYWHERE in the world, where would you choose?

Colorado as well. I have family outside of Denver.

If you had chosen your name, would you still go with the one mom and dad gave ya or choose something else?

Lindsey

Would you rather be a janitor or work at a fast food restaurant?

Janitor, although it could be gross, especially in schools..

Favorite birthday memory?

Not being able to bring in cupcakes to school, since my B-Day is in July. Maybe this should be least favorite? Oh well, it is funny in retrospect...

Who are you dying to see in concert that you haven't already?

The Pink Floyd Experience cover band, Paul McCartney, U2

If you could go on tour with FM, would you want to be their:

wardrobe person
sound engineer
Stevie's dog-sitter
Lindsey's guitar technician
personal masseuse

Why would you want to do that particular job?

Sound engineer. Sound boards from every show

Christy! We must've seen the same performance (since I'm guessing he's only been on there once).

I was flipping the channels, and there was nothing else on... so when I stumbled on Keith Urban singing on Austin City Limits, I decided to leave it on and see if he was any good (I've heard of him, but have never actually heard his music).

Well, I don't tend to be a fan of country music, but I can't tell you how impressed I was. He's GOOD!
(And mighty hot, too!)

If you could live ANYWHERE in the world, where would you choose?

*Anywhere but here. Seriously.

If you had chosen your name, would you still go with the one mom and dad gave ya or choose something else?

*I hate my name. Marissa...blah...I don't know what i'd choose but I'm not a fan of my name.

Would you rather be a janitor or work at a fast food restaurant?

*A janitor so I wouldn't have to deal with people thinking I'm a moron just because you work at a fast food restaurant. It's amazing how some people treat others when it comes to jobs like that.

Favorite birthday memory?

*I don't remember which birthday it was but my parties always lasted longer than they were supposed to...we're talking 3 days and kids are still at my house. One year, I had a sleepover and then the following day we ordered pizza and then packed all 14 of us in a car and went to Dave and Busters. My parents gave each of us 15 bucks and we went and played. It was a good time

Who are you dying to see in concert that you haven't already?

*I'd like to see Portishead and I'd also really like to see Sarah McLachlan and The Barenaked Ladies.

If you could go on tour with FM, would you want to be their:

wardrobe person
sound engineer
Stevie's dog-sitter
Lindsey's guitar technician
personal masseuse

Why would you want to do that particular job?

*None of the above. My actual dream job? Stevie's backup singer But, if you're making me choose...i'd be her wardrobe assistant. It wouldn't be a bad gig carrying Black Dress and capes around

If you could live ANYWHERE in the world, where would you choose?

Monterey Peninsula of California

If you had chosen your name, would you still go with the one mom and dad gave ya or choose something else?

Probably not, even though I've grown to like my name. I always liked the names Christine, Elizabeth, Grace or Abigail.

Would you rather be a janitor or work at a fast food restaurant?

Probably work at a restaurant. I could take being a cashier.

Favorite birthday memory?

My birthdays have all been okay but none have been more memorable than the others. Though I *did* meet Tucker Carlson (<3) on my last one.

Who are you dying to see in concert that you haven't already?

No Doubt, Chris Isaak, REM, Springsteen

If you could go on tour with FM, would you want to be their:

wardrobe person
sound engineer
Stevie's dog-sitter
Lindsey's guitar technician
personal masseuse

Why would you want to do that particular job?

Hmmmm. I'd only be a masseuse if I could be Lindsey's personal masseuse. Can I be the girl in charge of Lindsey's pile of white t-shirts?

I'm pretty sure it was the same one. It was just on, what, last week sometime? I was also just flipping channels and I figured that I missed it, because they had already shown it once, but I caught a rerun of it. YAY ME!! LOL I cannot stop listening to "Golden Road"!! I'm not a HUGE country fan either, but I do like some songs and artists, like Brad Paisley, Keith and I am really loving "Cool to be a Fool" by Joe Nichols...HYSTERICAL video too, as he parodies the show "Blind Date", which I LOVE watching.

Marissa...I forgot to put back up singer...I'd LOVE to be one of their backup singers!!!

Harrisburg, PA....yeah, I know, strange answer, but it's where I grew up and most of my family is there. Used to live in FL, but I love the change of seasons

If you had chosen your name, would you still go with the one mom and dad gave ya or choose something else?

Definitely wouldn't stick with Carol. WAY too boring. Maybe Morgan

Would you rather be a janitor or work at a fast food restaurant?

Fast food restaurant. Not way could I be a janitor and clean public bathrooms..even though they still have to be cleaned in restaurants, I'd find a way to avoid doing it...

Favorite birthday memory?

When I was little (not sure how old) I was supposed to have an outdoor birthday party, but it rained. I remember crying that we had to cancel it. Little did I know my parents changed it to a surprise party at my grandparents' house...

Who are you dying to see in concert that you haven't already?

Madonna

If you could go on tour with FM, would you want to be their:

wardrobe person
sound engineer
Stevie's dog-sitter
Lindsey's guitar technician
personal masseuse

Why would you want to do that particular job?

Stevie's dog-sitter. I love dogs, and I'd have a chance to interact with Stevie.

Fun thread!

Probably London

If you had chosen your name, would you still go with the one mom and dad gave ya or choose something else?

I despise my name. I would have liked *Alyssa* or *Elise.*

Would you rather be a janitor or work at a fast food restaurant?

Janitor

Favorite birthday memory?

My 21st

Who are you dying to see in concert that you haven't already?

I'd love to see Petty live, and Billy Joel and Elton John

If you could go on tour with FM, would you want to be their:

wardrobe person
sound engineer
Stevie's dog-sitter
Lindsey's guitar technician
personal masseuse

Stevie's dog-sitter. Yorkies are so cute.

That was his first appearance on Austin City Limits so it was the performance y'all saw.

I will be seeing him live (Again!!) on April 18 at the Ford Center opening for Kenny Chesney (I'm not a fan of "Cheese-ney"!!!) and to be honest I think he would make an excellent opener for Fleetwood Mac because in the live environment he is more rockin' than most rock acts!!! Would be interesting to see KU opening for one of his musical idols (Lindsey Buckingham)!!!

Brian j.

ps-KU's "Fan Club" is how the FM club should be run, $20 a year which includes many extras (And they ALWAYS send out updated via emails) including attendance to a "Meet & Greet" at a concert featuring KU...

Cool

If you could live ANYWHERE in the world, where would you choose?

With this unbelievably horrible heat at the moment, ANYWHERE where its COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure why everyone picked Colorado, but actually thats one of the main places I want to go to if I go to the US cause I read Michener's 'Centennial' about a fictional town in the state's northeast. It would be interesting to check out that area, as well as Denver and the Rockies.

If you had chosen your name, would you still go with the one mom and dad gave ya or choose something else?

I'd definitely stick with Joseph. It's pretty versatile. I'm a stickler for the old biblical names. They generally have a standard full version and a standard short version (like 'Joe'), as well as other personalised nicknames (like 'Jojo', and 'Joey-jojo Shabidu' )

Would you rather be a janitor or work at a fast food restaurant?

Ugh. Probably Janitor.

Favorite birthday memory?

18th birthday party, one for just the family, out the back of our house - I decided 'Hey, its my birthday, I can play what I want' so I put FM's Greatest Hits CD on the stereo and brought it outside. Just when I was walking out side for the cake cutting later on, Sara, may favourite track at the time, had just started. And I was walking down out to the lovely back courtyard with the people I cared about all sitting around waiting for me. It was a magic moment!
This soppy story has been brought to you by Fleetwood Mac.

Who are you dying to see in concert that you haven't already?

FLEEtWOOD MAC! (Don't worry - I will remedy that twice over next week!)

Personal masseuse. Come on, you don't really need to know why do you?
The Backup Singers: "Um Joe are you sure we need to have a massage? We don't feel tense."
Joe: "Hey, girls, trust me - I'm the masseuse!"

LOL!!! That makes me think of the Ab Fab episode Fish Farm. Eddy has her eyes on the gardener Saffy has hired. He asks if she'd like a back massage and she replies with "how about the fronts?"

Well, I grew up taking almost yearly trips to Colorado. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. It's nice, even in the summer, and the Rockies are AMAZING!! Up around Estes Park is just gorgeous. My dad and I went to Telluride last year and that was a cute little ski town. I would recommend Ouray as well, because it's a neat lil town and you are in the heart of the mountains.

If you could live ANYWHERE in the world, where would you choose?

* I don't know yet, but I'm something of a nomad by nature. I'm still looking for my Shangri-la. I did enjoy Austin a lot, but I think there's better out there (no offense, Livia & Cliffdweller!).

If you had chosen your name, would you still go with the one mom and dad gave ya or choose something else?

* I'd choose another, but with the same initial (part of the cultural tradition). I like somewhat unusual ethnic names a lot & would probably go with one.

Would you rather be a janitor or work at a fast food restaurant?

* No.

Favorite birthday memory?

* Big surprise parties from friends when I turned 20, 21, 28, 29, and 31.
Also, spending my 18th with just my family at my late grandmother's. But to be honest, I hate my own birthdays. I prefer other people's.

Who are you dying to see in concert that you haven't already?

* I hate that I never got to see Warren Zevon, so I'll have to say an absolutely wild & rocking Stevie. Sans Blackdress. I've seen every tour since '89 & loved them all, but in many ways I missed the best days. I still have hope.
Also, I want to see Sheryl.

If you could go on tour with FM, would you want to be their:

* I'd be equally horrible at all of them. Instead, I'd love to write songs with them, though something tells me they would blacklist me based on recent writings.

- Jake
