Default I Am Waiting - how on earth does he play it?

Hello all,

This is one for the guitarists amongst us, of which I am just about one...

I've just listened to Lindsey's version of 'I Am Waiting' for the first time in ages (it was in storage, along with most of my life) - and I was reminded of just how utterly wonderful it is. Such a beautiful arrangement, stunningly played. So different from the Stones' original, which is really basic in comparison.

Do any of you guitar-wielders know how he plays it? It seems to be a non-standard tuning, am I right? But which one? Any thoughts on the finger-picking?

Then there is the fact that he is able to sing while he plays it, but that's another thing altogether...

Any tips would be very welcome.
