I couldn't even watch this sh*tshow till a few days ago. Picture me sitting on the couch clutching my inhaler before I pressed play on the remote. This performance was a real adjective test. Dull, boring, uninspired, sad, flat, listless, lifeless, anemic, lethargic. It felt so incredibly sad to me. Sad but with some other emotion I can't describe.
One of my favorite books is Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. There's a part where the narrator is listening to comments from friends about how quickly his son is growing and the passage of time---"Suddenly the feeling of the tomb comes on". This sentence is exactly how I felt watching Ellen |

I thought that was Gypsy on the Ellen show.

It really did. But to be fair, that song has always stunk live.

Check out 4:02. Only Lindsey. (Slightly more effective than a finger plonking a keyboard...) Last edited by sodascouts; 09-19-2018 at 11:06 AM.. |

No see... You proved me wrong. It's almost always stunk.

The one from the Mirage tour video is one of my favorite things ever.

I do like that one. I love her eyes in it. I love the way BuckVie interact in it, too.

But she really monotones that first verse to death, though.

I've never considered any of these 3 to be great singers. They make magic together. Something one of them didn't realize.
