From the Rumors lineup, who is your favorite?

I voted for Christine. Buckingham/Nicks aren't of much interest to me.

If I like one's writing better and another's singing better, can I split my vote?

Stevie...
She's got the voice (not that Lindsey and Chris don't) , and I always liked her style of writting and lyrics the most. Plus, it was her songs that first got me into FM. Not to mention (nothing to do with writting/singing), she was and still is pretty hot.

The White Album, Rumours, Tusk, and Mirage I would say Stevie. Anything after that would be Christine. Of course there are exceptions in those periods too, depending upon the song. And I can't possibly forget all the many great contributions Chris made to FM before Stevie and Lindsey joined the band. It'd have to be a tie between the women I guess! Joe |

This is really a difficult question. I like and respect each of them equally. Of the Rumours line-up, the three singers/songwriters possess many different talents and qualities... It's hard to choose a favorite because they're all so different, know what I mean? If I must choose...
Vocals- Chris Lyrics- Stevie Production skills/musical skills/lyrics/just about everything else- Lindsey. Ok, so I guess Lindsey is my favorite, but I still like all of 'em equally. I guess it's a mood thing.

This is an outrage! Mick is my favorite! These Strange Times is the best song ever! (I'm guessing he was omitted because it's after the Rumours Era.)
Actually, my vote goes to Stevie, as anybody who has read my posts would predict. - Jake

Christine. I love her pop delicacy and her gentleness. I almost feel her like my mother when she sings "Show Me A Smile", or "Songbird", conforting me. That'a a sensation that not too many songwriters (neither Stevie nor Lindsey, for that matter) have done with me. I love Stevie, I like Lindsey. But Christine is the one that makes it work for me. Stevie's got it all folks: mystery, romance, edge, drama, softness, rock and roll...she's everything. Noone else in the band is that multi-faceted in their song-writng or singing.

Let's hope this won't turn into another bloodbath.
Ye olde Buckingham for me in the end. All three writers move me in different ways and in that way there's no comparison. But Lindsey beats the two in diversity. He hits more emotional centers in me. He takes the most risks and therefore won't ever be preferred by the majority. I don't truly think he's ever made a misstep though. But I'm an eccentric Finnish sled-kicker anyway. And whatever the others may say, one can't still deny Lindsey's crucial involvement in some of the ladies' best moments, such as "Oh Daddy", "Brown Eyes", "Gypsy", "Beautiful Child", etc. And no, this isn't a Nickshead bait.
