Default Lindsey's ladies

Are there any other Lindsey songs that include a woman's name in the title or lyrics?

Lola - reference unclear
Stephanie - Stevie Nicks
Mary Lee Jones - reference unclear
Oh Diane - reference unclear
Caroline - Carol Anne Harris
Miranda - probably Anne Heche
(see lyrics speculation at this bn.net page)
"Annie" in Down On Rodeo - Anne Heche

Any songs I'm missing?
No overt reference to Cheri Caspari?

All help appreciated.

Almost all or all of Go Insane is directed at Carol Anne, the use of a female name is largely absent though.

I can't think of any others. I think "Lola" was just a name that sounded cool and you could play with in a song ("Lo, lo, lo...") - perhaps inspired by "Layla" - and was not in reference to a particular girl named Lola, but I have nothing to base that on.

well, by that standard almost all or all of Rumours and Tusk are directed at Stevie.

Much of his recent solo stuff was to do with his wife.

Much of Tango was to do with Carol as well. (Big Love, Tango in the Night, etc)

Thank you, ladies and gents.

Also I misspelt Harris' name--she doesn't have a silent e on her middle name.

A different topic for a different forum, but it's mildly interesting how each of the Rumours lineup albums includes a song title that is a woman's name (and never a man's name)--with the exception of Rumours itself.

Rhiannon
Sara
Diane
Caroline
Miranda

Is the Ricky B-side the only Rumours lineup song with a man's name in the title?

Should we count "Murrow" as released during the Rumours era?

Good thinking! Maybe I was thinking too much about first names.

I guess Lindsey decided that "Ed Turning Over In His Grave" didn't have quite the same groove to it.

Goodbye Angel is about CAH as well. She wrote in her book that he called "angel" all the time.

Maybe that's why Lindsey did backup vocals on The Zoo's Angel Come Home?

She wasn't the only one. I guess it was a favorite pet name for whomever he was with.

Default God is a woman

Oh, and if we count "God" as a woman, then "God" in Come is presumably Anne Heche.

Heche seems to get all the interesting references (and, if you ask me, some of the best songs) despite the relative briefness of their time together. Must be the 'one that got away' effect.

I don't think Stevie's song Angel is about Lindsey at all if that's what makes you think that. I think Stevie herself even said it was about Mick.

Maybe, maybe not, but I think "Sad Angel" clearly is about Stevie, for one.
