Default B Side

Besides Silver Springs which B side do you think should have been included on the original release?

My vote would be You and I part 1.

Fleetwood Mac has never done too many B-sides, right? But anyway, my vote would be for Down Endless Street. That's actually my favorite Lindsey song from Mirage. And I know that I must not really sound like a fan, but I have never been able to hear any difference between You and I Part I and You and I Part II.

I gotta go with "Joan of Arc". It would have fit perfectly on TITN. My runner up is "Ricky", though I know it's not the most popular B-side by any stretch...

"Down Endless Street" was actually a Tango B-side.

Unless there's some Mirage outtake floating around that I've never heard...?!

"Down Endless Street," for sure. But in a more produced, less demo-ish version.

Joan of Arc wasn't a B side.

The only B-sides I am aware of

1) Silver Springs- Rumors
2) Cool Water- Mirage
3) Ricky - Tango
4) Down Endless Street - Tango
5) You and I Part 1- Tango
6) Lizard People - BTM

I think that is all of them unless I missed one.

My vote would be for Down Endless Street as the other ones (Besides Silver Springs) are not very good.

Ugh, you're correct. It was an outtake.

But it should've been a B-side.

I knew I was forgetting one. Book of Miracles is not bad for an instrumental track.

Hmm....Part 1 and 2 really don't sound anything alike.

DOH!! I knew that it was from Tango. I don't know why I put Mirage.

Now here is the weird thing. I had always wondered why there were two versions of You and I because when I heard version I, it sounded exactly like version II. I just went on youtube and found version I and I have never heard that. But I know I bought the extended single or whatever that part I was on. Since my memory clearly sucks, can anyone tell me where that originally appeared? Because I think I have to find it on vinyl and listen and see if indeed I have a mistaken copy or something. When Rock a Little came out, I bought the 45 single for Talk to Me because it came out before the actual album came out. I was in college and rode my bike back to my room all excited and put it on and...it was Prince!! They had mislabeled a bunch of singles. So I wonder if that happened again. i need to check this out tonight

I'm with you. I don't really like Family Man, so I would have swapped out that track for You & I Part 1.
