Not the case, like trackaghost said. It was released on the Best Buy's promo CD for The Dance Tour.

Wanna Wait For You, yeah that is Shuffle Riff. The Right Place to Fade, not so sure about that being Twist of Fate. We will find out...

I stand corrected. Don't know where I got that idea from, but you're right that the Best Buy booklet lists it as being from his forthcoming 1998 album -- Gift of Screws. And whoever it was I was initially responding to, it's also true that Down Endless Street need not be resurrected. It exists. That's enough for me.

I do not recall the booklet or anywhere on the CD reporting the album title though. My copy is buried away in storage, so I could be way off and may need to stand corrected.

It says from his forthcoming CD to be released in 1998, but it doesn't say what the title is.

Ten songs? Oh well, I shouldn't be complaining.. at least he's putting a new album out.

Especially, if we also get the other 2 we were owed in an FM product in 2009. I'll cut him some slack. Hey, if they have to pay when they go over 12songs, that means when we get less than 12 songs it's coming out of our pocket, right?.

I put in the title myself... meaning to distinguish between that and my earlier saying OOTC. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm glad it's only 10 songs. Albums are way too long these days.

agreed, and i think that was SYW's biggest weakness. too much on one album. they were over-extended

I have never in my life understood the "It's too long" complaint when it comes to albums. I know people argue that an album should make a cohesive statement and shouldn't have filler and all that, but I prefer longer albums because that means I get more music.

In the digital era when you can move things around so much [which I rarely do, I usually listen to it as the artist envisioned], I really don't think things can be too long. It's like an argument I have with a friend who says he doesn't like a particular deli because they make the corned beef sandwiches too thick. Yeah, ok. They are just giving you TOO MUCH MEAT for your $6? Michele

I still say "More is more." Let me, the fan, decide which songs are filler and which are worthwhile. Then I can put those songs on my iPod or burn them to my own disc in whatever order I like, leaving out those songs that don't catch my fancy. The age of true albums is gone anyway. Many people these days want and buy songs, not cds.

One person's filler is another person's favorite song ever.

That is true. And that is the genius of Say You Will. . . but Say You Will also works as an album.
