I'm looking for new music from these five people. It doesn't matter what slant they take; there's a natural chemistry between them, so even a potential middle-of-the road effort will be exciting. However, I honestly think the Buckingham-McVie material will be exciting. We'll see. Maybe....

I love almost everything Buckhingham/McVie. Lindsey kept saying how the chemistry was better than ever. That is what makes me so anxious to hear it.

They do have amazing chemistry. I love it when they get really creative and play around each other. I love how much they respect each other too. I once heard Lindsey say they play so well together because they come from opposite spheres. She is trained, he was not. She was heavy in the blues, he was more from folk and rock. But most important is how their voices blend together. Hold me, Don't Stop, Think About me.....they blend so well together that you sometimes forget there are 2 people singing.
I heard Stevie say once that she actually got jealous of Lindsey working with Christine when they sung World Turning on the White Album.

Very true. For a long time back in the good ole 1970's, I could never tell which one of the two was singing the first verse in Don't Stop.

I've been reading the comments on SYW.I personally enjoyed that album. It did great on the radio and they played the living crap out of it.

Also I agree with the Buckingham/McVie combo. They sound great.

Perhaps the recent passing of some of their contemporaries (if you can call them that) such Lemmy (70) and David Bowie (69) will serve as a catalyst for them to put their foot down a bit more.
(a metaphorical foot down on the accelerator as opposed to putting a foot down with SN- though that could work too).

They have nothing to lose but time. I think they should make a fantastic album of risk with a few hits scattered in the mix that make sense. I would love if LB did songs like Come or Red Rover.. while Christine did tunes like Isn't It Midnight and Brown Eyes and Stevie did songs like.. Bella Donna.. lol

So, now Glenn dies in their sister band; he was only 67.

Yeah, we should have had that album last year. Time waits for no one. Michele

I can't believe the Eagles can't tour with their founding member ever again. Needless to say, I am thankful we got to see the 5 Macsters onstage when we did. And they all looked good, even John.

I'm sure this is the end of The Eagles. Even though Don garnered a lot of the attention, it was Glenn's band. He was the band leader. The "lone arranger". I seriously can't imagine them going on without him.

just like there will be no Motörhead without Lemmy...anything otherwise would be a travesty.
