Y’all see where Chris has finally reached out to Lindsey? It seems like the seeds of a reunion are already being sewn.

Buckingham also revealed that he hasn't spoken to any member of the band since his firing almost a year ago.

"I have had, only in the last couple of weeks, I have gotten an email, which I expected to get, from Christine McVie," he said. Buckingham and McVie recorded an album together last year and went on tour.

"She wrote me an email and basically said, 'Dearest Lindsey, just know that I had nothing to do with any of this. Know that I miss you so much.' She said, 'I believe deep in Stevie's heart that she would like you to come home,'" Buckingham said.

He believes it could mean Nicks may have already gotten over what happened earlier this year.

"That maybe, underneath everything, Stevie would like to see me back already, that maybe she feels ambivalent about what's going on. This could just be Christine expressing wishful thinking or expressing something she thinks will make me feel better," he said.

Buckingham said he's open to getting back with Fleetwood Mac but isn't expecting a reunion.
Personally, I don't care about a reunion with Lindsey and the rest of the Rumours 5. I have no interest in anything Stevie might be doing, musically or otherwise. I do, however, strongly wish for a Buckingham McVie II. The email Christine sent to Lindsey, reaching out to him, bodes well for such a reunion.

Rumours 5? LOL does Lindsey have a clone I have been unaware of? Hahahahha, I couldn't resist the little tease.

What you say about Stevie though doesn't surprise me at all. You have always been a vocal Christine fan all these years.

Just when you think the demise of this band couldn't possibly get any sadder.

I'll be over him too, if he goes back, after the hideously embarrassing situation that was thrown on him.

Would he really go back????

he told us at multiple meet and greets that we have to forgive them. most of the fans arfe telling him that he's way too nice and "don't you dare go back to wasting your time with them!" and "i'll hold the grudge for ya!" he told us it was never about the money for him and that he would never take them to the cleaners.

good for him though, it is way healthier to forgive and be at peace. as long as he doesn't go back to FM. BuckVie 2? sure. Christine is still forward thinking and creative and they have such nice rapport. him almost crying when talking about FM as a home? awwww

He can forgive all he wants, I'll hold a grudge like a MF(that's not a Mick Fleetwood).

ALL I want from them is a BuckVie II. Goat free at last....goat free at last!!!

Barring a death. There will be a reunion bank on it.

If he turned them down, he’d seem every bit as petty and small as them. If he returned, I think it would prove how much bigger of a person he is than the rest.

I put my money on a Dance style reunion, filmed for wide release, live CD, the last goodbye if you will, but no tour. Or, if there is ever a biopic about FM which undoubtedly at some point there will be; a live show will be tied into the release of the film.

Baloney, a full scale tour will happen if nobody dies before hand. For one simple reason. The $$$$$ Mick will move the majority towards a reunion tour, LB would agree, John will agree, Chris will agree, Azoff will talk sense into Stevie. She’ll be over Toms death and me too by then. And Azoff won’t let it go because it’ll mean a several million for him if he pulls it off.

Not only a live album but a mega tour....with $1,000 front row packages available.

Absolutely that's the standard FM dinosaur rock band MO. However, one small issue, their voices bar Lindsey's are shot. It would almost be sad to watch. Imagine them headlining Glasto or Coachella and Chris hitting bung notes. A Dance style produced album will tidy all that up and preserve their genius.

Would draw inevitable, and quite unfavorable, comparisons to The Dance, which took three months of post-production (no budget for that in today's market).

When would that happen? 3 years from now? So a mega tour starting in 2021 that goes to 2023? Chris will be 80 when it’s over. Not happening. They are all too old to pull this off in another 3 years. THAT would be really sad—-to try and salvage a legacy when you are limping to the stage. C’mon.

If they 'd want him back i'd hope that if he considers it a condition might be some new music, else, no thank you.

An imagining of a "reunion tour" and the five of them on stage ( not counting the back up orchestra and choir here ) with, oh shudder, stevie nicks reaching out a hand to him and quipping on and on about how old loves never die etcetera ad nauseum, oooh man, gag-worthy. Please no.
