Because Homer and Bwboy were fighting about it. And everyone listens to them.

I’ve noticed it recently on the iTunes chart (All Genres not just the Rock chart) and I wasn’t sure why it appeared there all of the sudden. I didn’t see anything with the Rumours Live release that’s used Songbird to promote it.

This news makes me so happy and sad at the same time. I’m feeling a sweet sadness. The very feeling Christine’s voice often evokes….

And that John guy who pops in here like once a year, and has his MASSIVE TANTRUM, then storms off.

I love you too, John Boy.

C'mon now. bwboy is a true FM fan. He buy a Stevie Barbie, but that other guy makes love to his Barbie doll.

Tony makes love to his Bob Welch doll.

BW boi is probably the reason The Old Goat Barbie is sold out. He probably invested his life savings into buying up as many dolls as he could.

Does Tony's Bob Welch doll have the toupee or not?

Leave bwboy alone! He's my BTM buddy.

Tony's Bob Welch doll has a book in his hand and a drink in the other.

Looking at the page views for Songbird on Wikipedia, it experienced a massive spike in views on September 26th. From September 14th-25th, the daily page views for "Songbird" ranged from 231-416. On the September 26th, the page experienced 2,518 views.

I'm unaware of how this occurred, although other songs in their discography have also experienced unexplained brief spikes in popularity. During the week of 21 October 2021 - 27 October 2021, "Tango in the Night" (the song, not the album) entered the UK Singles Download chart at #26. "The Edge of Seventeen" also happened to be at #11 on the same chart that week.

The unexplained surge of Tango (the song) is probably from this:

I did not know that. Thank you.

Speaking of which, it appears that "Songbird" was performed on The Voice in late September, so we found our answer. https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertainm...an/ar-AA1hi4oe

Toupee? That thing was a wig.

Bob Welch’s career was destroyed by corporate. They tried making him be more like Rick Springfield and made his music crippling bland.
