Chris follows the K.I.S.S. principle.

TRIVIA: Which of the above-listed composers did Christine quote musically (& very briefly) during a bunch of Fleetwood Mac shows in 1980?
Perhaps - but I also see her as a Cole Porter kind of gal - not to mention Mendelssohn's Lieder ohne Worte (all eight of them)

And - you wouldn't be talking about "You'll Never Make Me Cry" would you?

Any ideas?
Well, I think it should be something that doesn't concern her directly, but about which she'd be interested and have an opinion. Now, if it was John and I saw him in a Marina and I knew a single, darn thing about sailing, I'd point out some unique feature about a boat on the water, make a salient and pithy observation. He'd lean in closer, suddenly alert and engaged. I'd be in like Flynn!

Christine? Well, if I had a dog with me -- I don't own one, but maybe I'd run across one somewhere -- I'd say, "you know, it's a funny thing, but I really hate to have him eat in front of people!" Then, I'd let her pick up the ball from there. Then, the conversation would take its natural turns and within 10 or 20 minutes, I'd have her telling me why Why was removed from the setlist.

I would say

"They're not as good without you, you do know that don't you?"

Then take it from there

Actually I probably wouldn't say anything I'd probably be too gob smacked to speak

If that were the case, I'd tell her I was a school teacher. Apparently, she finds them fetching lately.

I was thinking about Christine and I will get romantic and imagine that if she really was sitting in the tiered seats on Stevie's right, maybe she deliberately chose that location because that is closest to where her position is on stage. So that would have approximated where she would have been in relation to her bandmates, if she were playing with them.

I like that notion quite a bit.

Sorry to burst the bubble but I think that's the VIP area at the Wembley Arena. I can't imagine that Christine would be sitting out with the rest of us.

Oh, it seemed to me that the view was really bad to be VIP seats. I was thinking they sat near the sound mixing area, as I've seen Lindsey's wife there. But I've also seen her sitting on the floor. You're probably right that Christine would not sit where fans would have access to her and bother her all night.

Well apparently Radio 2 were talking about the gig the next day and they said that Christine was sat in front of the mixing guest and having a great time. This is also where Jimmy Page and Ritchie Sambora were

I went on the 31st Oct and I thought I saw her by the mixing desk that night but as Stevie didn't dedicate Lindslide to her I thought I was mistaken.

Also I was that far back I was in a different time zone so it was difficult to tell although I was on the side right opposite mixing desk.

Remember in 2003, they didn't say anything about her at all when she was in the audience, I don't think. Michele
