wow, extremely close so far, with everybody but 1 voter loving RAB:
  • Rock Away Blind 13
  • In Our Own Time 10
  • That's the Way Love Goes 10
  • Illumination 9
  • Stars Are Crazy 9
  • Seeds We Sow (acoustic or electric, clarify in the text which one) 9 (<7 votes each version)
  • Gone Too Far 6
  • End of Time 6
  • One Take 5
  • When She Comes Down 3

9 Seeds votes where specified are divided like this so far:
  • SWS electric: 4 (Lindsfan, Michele, McTrouble, elle)
  • SWS acoustic: 4 (Lindsfan, Wildhearted, CAD, bluefox)
  • (plus 3 people who voted for SWS didn't specify which version).
this means that each version of SWS would have 7 votes the most, so far.

I would so have picked SATC if it had been an option!

Oh man, I've never heard the electric Seeds We Sow. Why wasn't I coming to these boards as often when SWS was first out?? Ah well sounds intriguing.

My fav is Stars Are Crazy and Lindsey's live set really brought that one home, as well as In Our Own Time. My other 3 picks were Gone Too Far, End of Time and Illumination.

1. Illumination
2. That's the Way That Love Goes
3. One Take
4. Gone Too Far
5. Seeds We Sow (Acoustic)

SIDE NOTE: Does anyone else think that Sleeping around the Corner is actually a finished version of Wear You Down? Seems like a similar beat anyway.

Just Listening to sleeping Around the Corner. Gladly trade One Take for this one.

Lol....I have a love/hate relationship with one Take. Can't explain it but for some reason it sticks out like a sore thumb within this album. Sleeping Around the Corner, however, is a pure gem

with One Take i love the verses, the overall vibe and message, and the guitar solo. but i think the chorus although hooky is very generic. however the other 3 things i listed more than make up for it.

loving Sleeping Around the Corner feels like a guilty pleasure to me. some of the lyrics are just so lazy (we made sweet love? ), and the music is just so pure poppy that it always reminds me of Christine. but i love it anyway.

It does remind me of Christine as well. The mood. The use of the word "darlin" reminds me of her. And although I've never heard her use the term red rover, I imagine that she, John and Mick do. We don't play that game in America so I'm surprised that phrase is really in Lindsey's head.

This reminds me of how Joss Whedon has diverse characters say "safe as houses" and it's somewhat annoying, because some of the people who say it in his world would, but some definitely would NOT.
