Peter Green is 60 today!

On Peter's 25th birthday, in 1971, Duane Allman died after a motorcycle accident. Like Peter, Duane was a great guitarist (one of the greatest!).
I've been playing lots of music from both guitarists today!

I'm a bit late posting this. I was driving home from an ice hockey match in Nottingham on Saturday night. The CD I was listening to finished so I put on Radio 2. I pulled into my driveway at just on Midnight. I was about to switch off my car when Bob Harris put on Green Manalishi. I rushed inside and switched it on in there. At the end of the song Bob dedicated it to Peter saying it was his 60th birthday. You can listen to it on the Radio 2 website using the Listen Again feature. Select the Bob Harris - Saturday option and fast forward by 2 hours. Ignore the fact it says it was broadcast on Sat 21 Oct, it is the correct show.
