Default What is your favorite festive season FM song

Is it a Merry Christinemas you'll be celebrating this year to remember FM's honey-voiced angel?

Perhaps the haunting tones of a Silent Nightbird will whisk you to dreamland?

Will Santa be nimble and quick this year as you head down the holiday road?

Or is there another, overlooked FM-related festive season song that is the dime in your pudding?
Perhaps a classic carol you wish one or all of them had covered?
Any votes for Mick's solo effort "A Very Lizard People Christmas," or have I been hitting the eggnog again?

Each are wonderful and demonstrate their talents. A Very Special Christmas is the best Christmas album ever. Many of the songs are my favorite versions of the songs ever. I love Bob Segar's Little Drummer Boy, Bryan Adams Run Rudolph Run, Whitney's Do You Hear What I hear, The Pretenders Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas, etc.
IMHO they are not just covers....they are some of the best versions of the song.
I think Stevie nails Silent Night. I love how she did all 3 verses and put her own spin on it. Robbie Nevil ads something to the song too. The only way this album could have been better if Chris was on it too.

As Long As You Follow but that's because of the video.

This was my immediate thought too. I think that one is a very underappreciated video.

I like Silent Night the best. As far as the video, As Long As you Follow for sure. Holiday Road is a great song but I don't really think of the “Holidays” when it comes on.

Its also a very underappreciated song. I was watching a Mac cover band perform the song and they did such an incredible job. They sounded just like the recording. Its a shame that song never got the kudos it deserved. It was released around Christmas and even though it was not a Christmas scene, it felt like Christmas. I loved the concept for that video......all in a hotel room while a couple is fighting and making up through the window as the snow came down.

To tell the truth, I'd never even heard Christine's song, and only heard snippets of Stevie's. I'm NOT a fan of Christmas music in general. So it's Lindsey all the way in this race.

I'm going to have the most peaceful Christmas ever this year. Family here in Nashville is going to Indiana, because a 91yo grandma(not on my side of the family) is nearing the end, and they want to spend one last Christmas with her. I'm welcome to drive 8 hours(round trip), but Bah Humbug, that's too much driving just to spend a few hours there, then turn around and drive back. So it'll be a Chinese buffet, Merlot and Pornhub kinda Christmas this year. God bless us one and all!!!

With the exception of a few Mannheim Steamroller songs and some stuff by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, I'm not incredibly fond of festive music. But I will gladly listen to "Holiday Road" any time of the year. That song should have "Last Christmas" levels of fame and should be immediately accepted into the Christmas canon as a holiday classic. There should be a campaign to get "Holiday Road" back on the charts.

Stevie performing Silent Night live with Tom and the Hearbreakers.

Bit less strident than the recorded version.

My favourite would have to be Holiday road…
I can see my kids rolling with laughter when the squirrel jumps from the tree.

(But my best Christmas song ever is The River..agh, still gets me that song)

I guess the best Fleetwood Mac Christmas related song is As Long As You Follow.
Maybe they should have released Angel as a Christmas song. Add some sleigh bells….ta-da

The greatest ever Christmas song is Fairytale of New York by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl. In the UK it’s annually rated the best, and for very good reason. Incredible song.

Why is ALAYF related to Christmas? Is it for the snow or is there something else in the video that I didn't see? I mean, yes I realize snow is very related to xmas in northern countries, but I didn't see any christmas decoration in the apartments. And as far as I know it may snow in february or march, in the north hemisphere at least.

And Landslide could be also related to christmas, or ask Michael Keaton.
