I think it’s sad that people are buying Crystal Visions because of her nomination and it really isn’t her best. There are like 5 wasted spots on that album.

Default the sun or the moon or a blue light..

"..in the cool silent moments of the night time.." Ms. Stephanie Nicks - a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist.. My Sweet Girl!

"..I chose to dance across the stages of the world.."

Congratulations Stevie Nicks. Lovers love. Haters hate. But the music world made it clear.. "there were candles.. crystals.. I was anyone's fantasy.. One More Big Time Rock and Roll Star"

".. And the light that burns through the window pane.. And the love remains.."

Does anybody know the exact date the 2019 inductees ceremony takes place?

From RS: "The induction ceremony will be held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on March 29th"

Unless they extend it over three days this time to accommodate Stevie's acceptance speech.

"CRYSTAL CONFABULATIONS -- The Stevie Nicks Induction Ceremony Gala Mutual Appreciation Talkathon -- Join us until the Edge of Seven A.M. -- Please don't set the Rooms on Fire because all exits will be locked and barred to prevent people escaping during the speech -- Intermission performance of classic waltz by Mick Fleetwood and Christine McVie -- Don't miss it or smirk, or you'll get a verbally abusive call from Irv Azoff!"

So, although this year has been bitter with all that has been happening on the Fleetwooc Mac front I must say:

Very happy for Stevie. This IS sweet across the bitter side. I feel it is well deserved because every time I watch Stevie Nicks on a stage I feel spellbound. Stumbled across 'Don't dream it's over' on YouTube and I can't wait to see it live. Especially the moment when Stevie joins the stage on the song.
Congratulations, Stevie!

The bitterness doesn't extend much past the ledge and some niche internet platforms.
I'm ignoring it from now on, as it's pointless.
Even though I don't support the current incarnation of FM, they are selling out arenas, as usual, and 90% of media articles don't seem to be picking sides either.
So many Ledge members have always accused Nicks fans of being so obsessed. But as the past few years has shown on these posts, Buckingham fans are equally obsessed.
Some great info can still be found on these boards, but the hatred and mean spirited posts that keep being recycled at each other here is like grade school level, and not worth to feed into.
I look forward to watching the ceremonies when they are televised.

This such a validation of her solo career. I am so happy for her. Not bad for a singer I didn’t like very much when Rhiannon was first was played on the radio.

I've been thinking about Stevie's performance for the RRHOF. She is going to have to bring her "A" game. The show is known for it's great performances.

She should probably do Stop Draggin my heart around, but she needs to go back to those great performances in the 80's. The vocals need punched up and the song speeded up a bit. It's lost it's punch along with Rhiannon over the years.

I'd like to see her perform it with Waddy and Chrissy Hynde since girl power has been front and center this past year. Unfortunately most of her hits were from Bella Donna, but I think Stand Back should also be done, it's a big crowd pleaser. Fall From Grace with Sheryl Crow would be great too and showcase her later work. This is a standout rocker that shows why she should be in the HOF. Again, go back to that wonderful performance she and Sheryl did at an awards show whose name I forget at the moment, but it was on fire! If she want to get dramatic, Beauty and Beast would be great also. Or Love Is. Hopefully she lets her vocals fly. I know they are still in there.

I think she definitely should do Landslide. I’ve been watching the videos from the current FM tour and she consistently sings it beautifully. I know it’s a Fleetwood Mac song and her award is for her solo work but it is on Crystal Visions and she did write it before joining the band. Stand Back and Fall from Grace would both be great songs for her to rock on along with Ghosts are Gone! I saw her do it at The Beacon in NYC and it rocked!

Blockbuster Awards. Out of synch, but you get the idea.

There is a big difference between the fan groups, though. I do not see Stevie fans piling hideous accusations and personal insults at the other members of FM. She is made to be a total monster by some Lindsey fans and no aspect of her life or persona is off limits for some of the most slanderous and shocking accusations and suggestions. I do not see her fans doing that about Lindsey or Chris or Mick or whoever.
