Pic #50 is hilarious. Stevie looks like the moon rising above your head. One of your friends bears a striking resemblance to Stevie. And I am assuming you are the cute man with the glasses? Looks like you had a great time. Thanks for the pics and have fun in Europe!

The concert was amazing. It's a long story. My seat was incredible as was the whole night. La Nicks looked IMO fierce and sang with a vengeance - sort of like the second MSG concert this year. They were all very good actually.
Um, could you call a bitch once in a while? Like during Gold Dust Woman or any song for that matter?

David, is that you?

New York Magazine

http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2009/09...l_housewi.html

Mayor Bloomberg dined with Patti and Bruce Springsteen and Diana Taylor before flying to Boston for Ted Kennedy's funeral, then jetting back to East Hampton in time to dance to Fleetwood Mac until midnight at the Huggy Bear benefit.

So since it was a full setlist, did they include their rehearsed speeches for each song as well.

I was wondering about the boots too... But it looks like the crowd was treated to the runners with the shin guards.
they more or less did the standard speeches..but also interjected stuff about the charity, which was SAVE THE CHILDREN and they expected to raise enuf $$ at this event to build an orphanage for AIDS children in India

BTW ... Stevie did wear the boots !!

Well, maybe she has always had the attitude, idk.

But yeah--did they boots come out at all?
LOL!! I was thinking the same thing about those sneakers. I thought after a few weeks of foot rest she could have endured the boots for most of the show. The boks look particularly awful in most of those pics but Stevie's comfort is really all that matters. I wonder if the burgundy ensemble made an appearance.

Here's a mention of the event in the Southhampton News

http://www.27east.com/story_detail.c...0September%203

The Hamptons Social Scene, Beachcomber, 10-8-09

Saturday night, the main event was in Water Mill at the Gilberts for the 25th annual Huggy Bear Party. The evening benefits Ted Forstmann’s charity, which is dedicated to helping to keep alive children dealing with serious illness in developing countries. The highlight of the evening was an incredible performance by none other than Fleetwood Mac. Sunday was a winner-take-all men’s doubles tournament between the number-one and -two ranked men’s doubles partners, Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic, against brothers Bob and Mike Bryan; the Bryan brothers claimed victory. The weekend raised more than $1 million for Ted’s charity.

At first I almost didn't recognize her because she wasn't fully made-up in Jill-drag- but she definitely looks much younger and tinier in person.

I too am shocked that they did the full show and I'm harboring deep non-buyer's remorse now. I was all set to go... but I felt a wave of jitters at the last second. Could it be true or is FM just rumour? What if it's a wash-out? What if it's an abbreviated show? And I was starting to put price tags on everything. $2000 would be enough to buy enough mahogany lumber for a new deck. $2000 would be enough for a long weekend to catch FM in Europe. Ugh... I guess sometimes you have to tell your better judgment to STFU!

seems you are headed to europe as well

we will be in

antwep oct 14

rottrdam oct 15

paris oct 17

uk oct 30,31

see ya ~
