Default Idea for Stevie / Christine duet...

I wonder if Stevie wrote a duet about sisterhood for Christine and Stevie to perform together would coax Chris back? Will anything bring her at least back to the studio? Doesn't she have any inclination watching the other four on stage? Thoughts?

I doubt it. For Christine, recording with the band (or, I think, anyone associated with it) would mean attempts to lure her back into all the touring and the stress that goes with being a part of the machine. She said last time around that whilst she watched the four of them on stage she had no desire whatsoever to get up and join them, and I suspect that applies to the studio too.

It's a shame, but I understand her desire to be done with it. I would love to hear her voice again, even if only on a studio recording.

I think at least one song from the new FM/Stevie album (whenever that is a reality) should have her on "guest" vocals.

They should sing the English pub song from that Warner Brothers video. It's been 30 years; surely Stevie has learned it by now.

Stevie barely knows the words to Don't Stop, this is a bit optimistic!

Chris doesn't know the words to Dreams, so they're even!

I'm not surprised they couldn't wish Warner a Happy Birthday in under five takes.

I love Christine's take on Stevie's songs. Have you ever heard her 'Rhiannon'? "Dreams unwind...etcetera, etcetera."
